It comes after David revealed that the sword he wielded in the season four finale is the same weapon that was used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Conan films.
In episode nine of Stranger Things series four, Hopper and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) face a deadly Demogorgon in a Russian prison after one survives their plan to trap and kill the beasts.
Slim Jim: The actor appeared slimmer than ever in the smash hit shows fourth season after his character had been taken prisoner in a Russian gulag
Hopper reaches down on to the ground and picks up a sword – which had been left there after a prisoner used the weapon to fight the monster in an earlier episode – before bravely fighting the Demogorgon with it.
And actor David has now revealed the sword was the very same prop that was used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1982 film Conan the Barbarian and its sequel Conan the Destroyer.
The original Conan film is an epic sword and sorcery movie that sees the character set off to find the sorcerer responsible for the genocide of his family.
Easter egg: The actor also revealed recently that the sword he wielded in the Stranger Things finale is the same weapon that was used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Conan films
Crossover: In a lengthy caption, David said he was ‘honoured’ to ‘wield’ the recognisable sword, which he joked was ‘heavy as hell’ as he asked Arnold, 74, for tips on his ‘technique’

He penned: ‘Nerd alert. The prop at the end of episode 9 is the Atlantean sword from the CONAN films.
‘A lovely fan found a still of when it was established in ep 7 and used by an unlucky inmate who met an untimely death near the cells at the side of our gladiatorial pit.
‘The real excitement behind this however, is that the sword the incredible ST props department (reveal yourselves guys so I can credit you) gave me is THE ACTUAL SWORD used in the filming of both CONAN films.
‘It was heavy as hell, and such a tremendous honor to wield. @schwarzenegger – ready to accept your notes on my technique.’
