Disneys Live Action Lilo & Stitch Movie Finds Director!
The upcoming live action Lilo & Stitch is one step closer to being made!
It was just announced on Thursday (July 14) that the Disney remake has found it’s director in Dean Fleischer Camp, according to Deadline.
The movie was first announced to be in the works all the way back in 2018, with live action Aladdin producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich serving as producers.

They are still on board, along with producer Ryan Halprin executive producing.
Chris Kekaniokalani Bright is said to be penning a script, with a previous draft written by Mike Van Waes.
The original Lilo & Stitch recently celebrated it’s 20 year anniversary, after debuting in June 2002.
The film centers on “the friendship formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and an alien named Stitch, who is engineered to be a force of destruction.”
You can currently stream Lilo & Stitch, as well as Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, Stitch! The Movie, Leroy & Stitch and Lilo & Stitch: The Series on Disney+!
Dean Fleischer Camp recently wrote, directed, produced the feature Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, which is currently in select theaters.
