EastEnders actress Tilly Keeper looks unrecognisable from soap days in new glam pics

Former EastEnders actress Tilly Keeper, who played Louise Mitchell from 2016 until her exit in 2020, looked almost unrecognisable from her soap days after she got glammed up for the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star party on Thursday night.

Tilly, 25, donned a plunging red mini dress featuring a glam rose detail, which she paired with matching red heels. Keeping her hair tied back, she opted for some bold eye makeup and pink lip gloss.

Tilly has firmly put Albert Square behind her since her exit from the east-end soap and has since joined the cast of hit Netflix series You, where she will play will play Lady Phoebe, an aristocratic socialite who becomes caught up in Joe Goldberg's (Penn Badgley) twisted schemes.

When Netflix released the first teaser for the new series, fans were excited to see Tilly's face show up, with some sharing their joy on social media, with one writing: "Obsessed with the fact Tilly Keeper is in the new season of You."

Another added: "step aside for netflix best girl!! @tillykeeper #YOU #YOUNetflix #YouSeason4," while a third said: "I will not apologise for how much I’m gonna stan Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe in #youseason4 #you."

And Tilly isn't the only former soapstar joining the series with former Corrie star Dario Coates, known for playing Kym Marsh's on-screen son Alex on the Cobbles, also appearing as well as Eve Austin, who previously portrayed Tabitha Taylor-Rudd in Emmerdale.

Gossip Girl icon Penn Badgley, who has played the series' murderous protagonist Joe Goldberg since its initial release almost four years ago, will continue into the forthcoming instalment along with the brand new line-up of Brits.

At the end of series three, Joe had jetted off to Paris in order to find Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) and her daughter Juliette, with many viewers presuming the next series would be based in the French capital. However it was later revealed that the new series will actually take place in London.

Last year a TV insider revealed: "This will come as a huge surprise to the millions of fans of the show around the world, who got used to the first three seasons being based in various locations in the US.

They said: "The last thing they would have expected was for the next outing to move lock, stock and barrel across the Atlantic and feature a largely British cast."

The twisted romantic-thriller is based on Caroline Kepnes' best-selling novels, and sees character Joe, a troubled serial killer, looking to find 'the one' at all costs.
