EastEnders’ Janine Butcher star dances with lookalike daughter in ‘iconic’ video

Charlie Brooks stole the show on TikTok over the weekend, appearing alongside her lookalike daughter Kiki Brooks-Truman for a fun dance video.

In a clip uploaded to the 17-year-old's account, the lookalike pair were seen busting some moves with Kiki writing beneath it: "Janine core = untouchable always xxx #eastenders #mum #mumsoftiktok #untouchable #eastendersmoments".

Kiki's caption also paid homage to EastEnders legend Charlie, 41, and her character Janine Butcher's infamous murder storyline involving Barry Evans – played by Shaun Williamson, 57.

The clifftop twist occurred during the soap's 2003 New Year's Eve special, where Janine sent her poor husband Barry to his doom after luring him to the Scottish countryside on their honeymoon.

"When a boy thinks he can hurt me but doesn't know my mum has a history with pushing people off a cliff xxx," the TikTok video's caption jokingly read.

Kiki's fanbase couldn't get enough of the duo's dance skills, with two going on to comment: "THIS IS THE BEST TIKTOK I'VE EVER SEEN BAHAHAHA" and "omg omg omg".

The next load of responses were mainly aimed towards their startling resemblance, as a further four messagers wrote: "I'm curious how many times you've been told 'you look like Janine off EastEnders'", "Omg Janine's real daughter looks just like her when she was that age", "Wow you look so much like your mum.. and I still remember that episode" and "Literally the same face, smile and all".

To which Kiki replied: "If i had a pound for everytime someone asked that i'd be a teenage billionaire."

This isn't the first time the mother and daughter have been compared to one another, either, as back in May a birthday post for Kiki brought about comparisons from fans too.

"Happy 17th birthday little miss kiki. YOUR SEVENTEEN! Jesus Christ," Charlie typed.

"We are doing life aren't we?! Up and down and in and out. I wouldn't change it for the world. Well… I might wish for some more cuddles and the occasional cup of tea. You have been my biggest teacher, and I love you more than you will ever know. On we go my little not so little girl xx."

Meanwhile, after departing Walford for the third time earlier this year – her final scenes as Janine are primed for the New Year – soap star Charlie revealed to The Sun that she'll always make time for EastEnders.

"I was only ever due back to EastEnders for a year, but when [executive producer] Chris Clenshaw presented me with his idea for the story, I couldn’t say no to staying a little longer," she said in October.

"I’ve had an amazing time, as I always do when I go back. But as always with Janine, she probably should not outstay her welcome — for everyone’s sake."
