Ed Sheerans incredible net worth as he becomes one of the worlds richest stars

Ed Sheeran returns to social media after 'turbulent' time

Ed Sheeran, 32, has been named one of the UK’s wealthiest people, beating out fellow pop stars Dua Lipa, Harry Styles and Adele.

According to The Sunday Times, Grammy-award-winning Sheeran is one of the UK’s richest people under the age of 35.

The Rich List – an annual compilation of the wealthiest Britons – is celebrating its 35th birthday and has reported that there are fewer billionaires in the UK compared to 2022 statistics.

The latest claim states there are currently 171 billionaires in the UK — six down from last year.

However, it’s said that the combined wealth of those billionaires has risen from £653.1billion to £683.8billion in the last year.

As of today (Friday, 19 May) Sheeran officially sits in seventh place on the under-35 list with a staggering estimated wealth of £300million.

His sixth record, Subtract, was the UK’s fastest-selling album in 2023 which is thought to have massively contributed to his top ranking.

Sheeran’s high ranking beat out other musicians such as Watermelon Sugar singer Harry Styles, 29, (£150m) and Dua Lipa, 27, (£75m).

The latter is said to have made her millions through a combination of modelling contracts, music and podcasting.

Tottenham-born Adele, 35, is another singer to sit inside of the under-35 list top 10 this year.

The Skyfall singer has had her wealth estimated at roughly £160 million — with her long-running Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace being a main source of income.

This estimated wealth put her in ninth place on the Times’ Rich List.

Sheeran is currently performing on The Mathematics Tour — a worldwide musical expedition which commenced in April of last year and isn’t due to conclude until September 2023.

As well as playing his songs live, the Halifax-born hot-shot recently triumphed in a copyright lawsuit.

A court ruled that Ed did not copy Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On when composing Thinking Out Loud.

Sheeran had said he would give up his music career if found guilty at the trial in New York.
