Elton John fans get engaged at Glastonbury show as cameras capture moment
Couple get engaged during Elton John’s set
Whilst fans from all over the world tuned in to see Sir Elton John perform at Glastonbury, one couple only had eyes for each other.
As the 76-year-old introduced fellow music legend The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers to the stage, a man got down on one knee and popped the question.
Whilst the crowd celebrated, the happy couple were treated to a rendition of 1971 hit Tiny Dancer by the two music legends.
Thankfully a savvy camera operator captured the sweet moment broadcasting it to millions of viewers watching at home.
Twitter users were thrilled when they saw the proposal rushing to the social media site to share the news.

Taking to the Pyramid Stage in a shiny gold suit, he closed the 2023 Glastonbury Festival by attracting one of the largest audiences that Worthy Farm has ever seen.
The performance was Elton’s debut at Glastonbury and he opened the show with Pinball Wizzard, before going on to play The B**th is back.
He then addressed the audience saying: “I never thought I would ever play Glastonbury and here I am.
“It’s a very special and emotional night for me because it might be my last show ever in England, so I had better play well, and I had better entertain you, you’ve been standing there so long, and I really appreciate all the outfits and everything.”
The show wraps up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour amid rumours he’s retiring.
This wasn’t the only engagement as Elton took the stage.
Twitter user @bobbihadgraft posted an image to the social media site captioning it: “Leaving Glastonbury with a fiance”
She then followed on by saying: “Brandon Flowers from The Killers came out a couple of songs after this and my head exploded. He is my favourite singer in the world and he was THERE! Couldn’t write it,” followed by a smiling face with a tear emoji.
