‘Feuding’ Harry Styles exes Olivia Wilde and Emily Ratajkowski avoid Met Gala clash

Olivia Wilde and Emily Ratajkowski avoided each other at the Met Gala amid feud rumours surrounding the pair.

There are claims Olivia is feeling "betrayed" by her friend Emily for 'breaking girl code' and kissing her ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles.

Emily, 31, arrived at the star-studded event in New York City on Monday 1 May long before Olivia, reported the Daily Express.

And while the A-Listers were in the same room for dinner and the Gala itself, it's understood they kept their distance.

Olivia, 36, and Harry, 29, began dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Don't Worry Darling, a film Olivia directed and Harry starred in.

The couple were together for more than two years and their relationship became serious quite quickly — with the pair even looking at schools in London for Olivia's children to attend if she relocated to the UK.

Sadly, the couple "took a break" in November, 2022 ahead of Harry's huge Love On Tour tour this year and their relationship is now thought to be frosty. And it's been made all the more tense after Harry was spotted kissing model Emily Ratajkowski, just four months after his split with Olivia.

A source told The Sun on Sunday that Olivia Wilde felt “betrayed” and that the women had not spoken since pictures of Emily and Harry kissing were made public in March.

Fans feared the row would spill over into the public sphere as both leading ladies were set to attend the Met Gala – although Harry had already confirmed he would not be attending this year.

Emily wore a gorgeous Tory Burch gown with a low neckline to the event, which showed off her incredible figure.

She paired the gown with a pretty clutch bag and simple jewellery, with glamorous makeup and a daring, sultry smoky eye elevating her look.

Later, Olivia arrived in a gorgeous white and gown gown with cut-outs exposing her toned midriff, inspired by the evening's theme, fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld.

She wore her hair down and wore glamorous make-up which showed off her dewy skin and beautiful eyes.

Unfortunately Olivia didn't escape an awkward moment during the evening, when fans noticed she was wearing the same dress, but in a different colour, as Vogue China editor Margaret Zhang.

Fans took to social media to discuss the fashion faux pas, while others simply wondered how it was allowed to happen when celebs spend so long planning their outfits for the Gala.

One person said: "They're so brave for not going home immediately," as another added: "Omg RIP to whoever is getting fired for this."

A third wrote: "The DRAMA," while another fan added: "They should hide away for the next year."

Also in attendance at this year's glamorous event where tickets cost an eye-watering $50,0000, were Serena Williams and Karlie Kloss, who both confirmed they're expecting, and Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner who stole the show with Kendall rocking a bodysuit without trousers and Kim wearing a bodysuit covered in rows and rows of pearls.
