Isabella Russo has an exciting new movie coming out this weekend, We Have a Ghost!

The 19-year-old actress will be starring as Joy Yoshino in the new supernatural comedy on Netflix.

Here’s a synopsis: Finding a ghost named Ernest haunting their new home turns Kevin’s family into overnight social media sensations. But when Kevin and Ernest go rogue to investigate the mystery of Ernest’s past, they become a target of the CIA.

The movie is based on the short story “Ernest” by Geoff Manaugh.

Isabella actually made her Broadway debut in the original Broadway cast of School of Rock. She played Summer Hathaway, the role that Miranda Cosgrove played in the original movie version.

Ahead of the release of Netflix’s We Have a Ghost, we caught up with Isabella and learned 10 Fun Facts about the actress.

1. I am a total nerd at D&D. I play every Sunday with a group of people I’ve never met in person but we have the best time together.
2. I have been bitten by a Fennec Fox. Twice.
3. I prefer tea over coffee.
4. I grew up in the theater world, touring around North America with my parents for ten consecutive years. I learned “Defying Gravity” before “Old McDonald Had A Farm.”
5. My favorite movie as of right now is Little Miss Sunshine.
6. I love knitting. I’ve made scarves, headbands, a cardigan, and a sweater for my dog.
7. My favorite band at the moment is Greta Van Fleet. I saw them in concert in December and they were magnificent.
8. I can’t stand coconut. I wish I could enjoy it but it’s always been the one food I can’t tolerate.
9. My favorite season is autumn.
10. I love scented candles. I have a ridiculously large collection and will never be disappointed if I’m given more as gifts.
