‘Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies’ Sadly Canceled After 1 Season on Paramount+
We have some sad news for fans of the Rydel High gang – Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies has just been canceled.
The Grease prequel series is one of four shows that are getting the chop at Paramount+, but that’s not the only devastating news.

Also being canceled are Star Trek: Prodigy, Queen of the Universe and The Game reboot. In addition to being canceled, Variety reports that all four shows are going to be removed from the streaming service in the coming days!
“The Paramount+ series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Star Trek: Prodigy, Queen of the Universe and The Game have completed their runs on Paramount+ and will not be returning to the service,” a spokesperson for Paramount+ shared in a statement. “We want to extend our thanks to our tremendously talented cast and crew and our producing partners for their passionate work and dedication on these programs, and we wish them all the best on their future endeavors.”
Variety also reports that an individual with knowledge of the situation says that the decision was strictly date driven.
This is just the latest in a long list of streaming original titles being removed from their platform, following HBO Max, Disney+ and Hulu…
Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies and Star Trek: Prodigy, which is still in production on it’s second season, are reportedly being shopped to other networks, while The Game could also be shopped around as well.
