Hailey Bieber bares her enviable abs on a date night with husband Justin in LA… after talking about being ‘pitted’ against his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez

Hailey Bieber showcased her enviable abs in skimpy grey tank top underneath a long black leather jacket on a date night with her husband Justin Bieber on Friday night.

As the lovebirds waited for the valet to bring their car to the front, the model, 26, stuck by her 29-year-old spouse’s side, outside Hudson House in West Hollywood.

For their night out at the new celebrity hotspot, known for their American dishes, the Rhode founder oozed cool as she rocked her golden locks in a sleek bun.

Her glamorous makeup look included an ample amount of blush across her high cheekbones and bronzer on her sun-kissed skin.

Meanwhile, Justin wore a faded grey zip-up hoodie over a white tee, backwards baseball cap, khakis and white sneakers.

Their outing comes just hours after Bieber confirmed she has ‘no issue’ with Justin’s ex Selena Gomez during an interview on the latest episode of Bloomberg’s The Circuit.

While speaking about the ‘silly made-up drama’ about them on the latest episode of Bloomberg’s The Circuit, Hailey admitted that the feud rumors really ‘hurt her feelings’ and that she feels ‘misunderstood.’

Leaving little room for misinterpretation, she remarked on ‘the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives.’

Discussing the online promotion of her skincare line Rhode, Emily commented: ‘You’re going direct to your audience with this… the internet’s not always a nice place, it’s been kind of hard on you sometimes, hard on your marriage…’

Not shying away from the comment, Hailey replied: ‘There’s narratives that exist for me that really hurt my feelings and make me really upset.’

When Emily pressed on the ‘ongoing drama’ between Hailey and ‘another celebrity,’ the brunette model was keen to have her say.

‘I don’t think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez,’ she explained.

‘This is not about this pitting between two women – it’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives, that can be really dangerous.

‘And I think that it’s an opportunity to really stand for bringing people together and not being okay with the kind of division that it caused, because I’m not okay with [it].’

Hailey continued: ‘I don’t like this whole idea of team this person and team this person – I want to be able to bring people together and I think that it was a really important moment for people to see that you can do that and it doesn’t have to be about this divisive nature,’ she continued.

Emily described it as a ‘frustrating old narrative’ because it was two women ‘being pitted against each other over a man.’

Clearly agreeing with her, Hailey shrieked back: ‘Because of a guy! It’s awful! I hate it! I’ve hated it since the beginning and it goes back to being misunderstood.

‘Time and time again, I don’t know why I keep having to say that there is no issue and no problem. It’s so disappointing that people still behave this way over a man… it’s the world we live in unfortunately.’

Hailey’s comments come just a few months after she appeared to make reference to the rumored feud in a two-slide text post she shared to Instagram.

Stephen Baldwin’s daughter admitted that 2023 had not been easy for her and that she’d been left emotionally ‘fragile’ after having to face difficulty after difficulty.

‘I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time,’ Hailey began.

Back in March, Hailey became the target of backlash after fans of Selena, 30, began accusing her of ‘copying’ the star’s style choices, career moves and even her taste in men.

Weeks later, the former Disney Channel star broke her silence on the matter and urged her fans to stop with the ‘hate and bullying.’

Past love: Selena and Justin were in an on-again, off-again relationship from December 2010 to March 2018 (seen above in 2009)

Selena addressed the speculation once and for all in a post shared to her Instagram Stories – and begged her followers to halt all the negative comments against Hailey since she said she’s an ‘advocate for kindness.’

‘Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,’ she wrote.

‘This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.’

For years, the internet has pit Justin’s ex Selena and the model against one another.

But in October 2022, they proved there was no bad blood between them when they posed for some photos together at an event – and they were even seen hugging it out.

However, in February 2023, rumors that they were fighting started to spread once again after Hailey shared a TikTok video in which some believed she was making fun of Selena.
