Having released the latest details of her beauty regimen, we take a look at what Victoria has revealed in the past about her beauty routine, exercises and diet – having given a glimpse into the hard graft of being Mrs Victoria Beckham.

Victoria – known for her svelte frame – has hit headlines on a number of occasions for her diet including last year when husband David admitted she ‘only eats grilled fish and vegetables’, while pal Rio Ferdinand stated he’s ‘never seen her eat’.

Aside from diet, she revealed in 2011 that she starts the day by splashing her face with ice water before kicking off her skincare, while she also confirmed to fans that she had moved from a cardio heavy workout routine to strength training.

SKIN

As Victoria’s penchant for Morpheus8 was revealed it was confirmed that if Posh fans want to follow suit they will have to fork out a whopping £700 a time.

A source told The Sun: ‘Victoria loves her beauty treatments and is willing to try out new techniques when it comes to keeping her skin looking so good.

‘She has one Morpheus8 treatment every six months. It is not for the faint- hearted and she has anaesthetic numbing cream applied to her skin 90 minutes before her treatment, which sees 24 4mm needles inserted into her face.

‘A radio frequency is then transmitted through the needles, which goes through to the tissue underneath her skin. It is painful, but Victoria swears by it for keeping her skin looking so good.’

Following the procedure, Victoria and other users have to take a minimum of two days to recover and to allow the bruising to go down.

Aside from the painful procedure, in 2011, Victoria spoke to Glamour about her regime, she said of her morning routine: ‘In the morning I start by splashing some cold water on my face to reverse any puffiness or dullness (or glass of tequila) from the prior night…

‘I learned this little tip from Melanie Grant, my favorite facialist. She taught me to dunk my face in ice water, but most mornings I just use ice-cold water from the tap.’

She then went on to unveil her ‘less-is-more approach with skin care’.

Victoria continued: ‘Fewer, better products are the way to go. I don’t have the time or patience to be fiddling with 10 different products at a time. Over the years I’ve really learned what ingredients work for my skin…

‘I like to use very powerful formulas that have many benefits and include key active ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and Professor Augustinus Bader’s TFC8 technology. That’s why our Power Serum is my holy grail for both day and night…

‘It contains all of these key ingredients plus vitamin E and olive fruit extract, which help protect against free radicals and blue-light damage— so important for how much time I’ve been spending in front of the screen.’

EXERCISE

Victoria shares snippets of her exercise regime on Instagram and stunned fans last year when she shared a snap doing an overhead squat with an Olympic bar.

In a caption, she penned: ‘I follow my training session which I vary day-to-day to focus on different areas of the body. Today I’m focusing on my upper-body strength, with a combination of resistance-band exercises.’

Earlier this year, she was also seen doing tricep dips. She wrote: ‘I’m in my strength training phase! Before and after every session, it’s key to mobilise and stretch. Recovery is as important as the work itself!’

She previously told Glamour: ‘I’ve always been a bit scared of weights, but it turns out I love them. I’ve even got those special gloves to wear! It’s good to switch things up and keep your body guessing. I’ve got so much more muscle tone now.’

On body image, Victoria went on: ‘It’s not about being a certain size. It’s about knowing who you are and being happy with who you are…

‘I have found my own balance between wanting to have fun and being disciplined about eating healthily and working out…

‘When you’re younger you fight against that balance, but through being older I’ve reached a place where I know what that balance looks like. I just know what works for me.’

DIET

Last year, Victoria offered insight into her ‘extreme’ diet after David made the grilled fish and vegetables revelation about the svelte star.

Inside Victoria’s diet

  • During the Euro 2004 tournament, she was believed to be eating just strawberries and water
  • Victoria revealed she was on a diet of berries and sashimi in 2009
  • David said she ‘only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables’
  • The football club owner revealed Victoria has eaten the same thing for 25 years
  • VB revealed her ‘comfort’ food is wholemeal toast with salt
  • She starts the day with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

The designer raged at the footballer for making her tastes ‘sound boring,’ in an interview with Vogue Australia, explaining she fills her diet with ‘healthy fat,’ and regularly goes through detoxes where she abstains from drinking alcohol.

Victoria’s comments came after a TV chef revealed the star’s ‘complicated’ dinner demands when she and David attended Sergio Ramos’ wedding in 2019, where she constantly requested ‘bowls of mints and coconut water’.

David offered insight into Victoria’s eating habits while discussing his own favourite foods during an interview on the River Che Table 4 podcast.

He said: ‘I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it. Unfortunately I’m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years.

‘Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that.’

Following David’s comments, Victoria told Vogue: ‘I mean, talk about making me sound boring! No. What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat.

‘I eat lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I do drink alcohol, unless I have a reason not to.

‘I’ll detox from anything for three to six months where I won’t drink. I’m quite extreme in anything I do, whether it’s eating or working out or drinking or not drinking.’
