And during Wednesday evening’s episode of the jungle competition, Seann Walsh detailed life before the limelight as he recalled being fired from a high street job.

The star revealed to his fellow campmates that he was fired from working in TK Maxx for falling asleep during a shift at the store.

As talk in the camp turned to careers, Sean confessed that he ‘crawled under the coats and snuggled up’ while he was meant to be working.

‘Working in TK Maxx and I got sacked for falling asleep under the coats. It was so comfy. The shop had closed, everyone was tidying and I was meant to be doing the coats, but the coats were on the floor,’ explained Seann.

Continuing: ‘I was so tired I crawled under the rest of the coats and just snuggled up. Then the boss came down and said, ‘Right, we need to have a word”.

His fellow famous campers joined in on the conversation too, with Chris Moyles telling the story of when superstar Elton John came on his radio show and swore while live on air.

Moving onto being famous, Seann then described his ‘best day’, where he performed onstage at the Apollo.

He described: ‘I think it’s got to be my first Apollo… All the legends have done it… It was one of the best gigs I’ve ever had in my life. It can’t really be topped.

‘I was on a bus hungover and got the call saying I was doing the Apollo. I yelled out, ”I’m doing the Apollo!” It’s London, no-one even turned around.’

Remembering the moment, he chimed in: ‘I was in uni… making myself the most student meal, cost me like 60p this meal.

‘[I said], ”Meant to say, what’s the deal with this pepper – I got the part in Hollyoaks – this pepper do I put it on…”

‘And she’s like, ”Go back! What did you say?” Oh yeah, got the part in Hollyoaks, so this pepper, yeah…’

Owen’s character Romeo was introduced to Hollyoaks as the long-lost son of James Nightingale, and in later years viewers have seen him become the village heartthrob.
