I’m A Celebrity 2022: Scarlette, Owen and Babatunde win EIGHT stars for camp in the Jungle On Sea trial and viewers are all saying the same thing
Scarlette, Owen and Babatúnde won eight stars for camp in the Jungle On Sea challenge after a terrible performance to bring back meals over the last few days.
In Wednesday’s episode, the Tombola draw saw Jill, Matt and Sue head to the surf-n-turf barbeque on the beach – while other campmates were left with their one opportunity to get some food for the remaining celebs since there were no stars up for grabs in the earlier trial.
Arriving to find a seaside-themed set of boxes, they each had to put their head inside a box and keep their hands free to pass stars, and other beach paraphernalia, until it landed in a lobster basket.

Inside Owen’s box was snakes, in Scarlette’s was rats and Babatúndé’s was frogs.
Scarlette encouraged him: ‘Eyes front, it’s fine, keep breathing.’
While Babatúndé screamed with his mouth shut throughout, they got into a rhythm. However, a bikini got caught on the rope and delayed them.
In the end he had to tear it off and they managed to get all eight stars before the klaxon, winning a full set for the remaining campmates.

Returning to camp they joked: ‘We got one star each…. for everyone.’
But viewers are all saying the same thing – that the trial was very easy in comparison to previous trials faced by the celebs in the series so far.
One fan wrote on Twitter: ‘They made that far too easy for obvious reasons,’ while another similarly added: ‘Is this the easiest trial ever?’
Someone else added on the social media platform: ‘Did that trial seem overly easy compared to the others we’ve seen so far.’
Another wrote: ‘What kind of trial was that? That was easy the stars would have gone in anyway.’

When their balls were picked out from the Tombola, all three immediately apologised to Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, 23, who was handed the most balls out of all campmates.
But the luck of the draw meant despite the 11 balls in his name, he was unfortunately not picked for the beach trip.
Most campmates picked the young actor because he has struggled with the lack of food during his time in the camp.
Hungry: Owen, in the Bush Telegraph, said: ‘I want to say that I’m not gutted, I want to be as happy as I can be for them, but I am ‘devo’d’

‘Sue didn’t really fancy it, Matt’s been here five minutes, Jill… Jill is a sweet, sweet soul, she’s an angel, I’m so happy for Jill.’
Seann said to the remaining campmates: ‘Matt is having an absolute holiday here. Sat in that chair, has a sleep in that bed, then goes to the beach for the day.’
Boy George added: ‘Can I just cut you off there, he still has to be Matt Hancock.’

Matt Hancock, Sue Cleaver and Jill Scott won a chance to have some surf and turf BBQ on the beach.
Jill, Mike Tindall, and Owen Warner were chosen by their campmates to take on the Scareground challenge which saw them write their co-stars names on balls, before putting them into a tombola.
Three winners were picked out and the lucky trio were able to escape the conditions of camp for the day.

The group all got to change out of some of their stinky jungle clothes as well to wear T-shirts which had their faces emblazoned on the front.
Matt could be seen taking on cooking duties as he stood behind the BBQ holding out his kebabs.
Ahead of the trip in the Bush Telegraph, Mike Tindall admitted: ‘On a beach, BBQ, surf and turf… sounds absolutely amazing.’
