Footballer Jill Scott had to be attended to by a medic on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on Thursday after a cockroach got stuck in her ear.
The sports star, 35, had the creepy-crawly stuck in her ear after competing in the Scareground trial, with the show’s super fans instantly comparing it to the iconic moment 2011 contestant Fatima Whitbread got a bug stuck up her nose.
‘I’ve just got a cockroach stuck in my ear,’ Jill said, after competing for the beach day prize draw in the tough challenge.

Viewers will remember that in 2011, Fatima had 7,500 cockroaches poured into her Perspex helmet when one of the critters crawled into her nose.

Getting back to business Jill said: ‘I can hear now! Right, how did we do?’
Afterwards, viewers took to Twitter to say how much they loved Jill.

Ant and Dec revealed Jill would be getting four balls to go into the tombola for the beach day prize draw.
During the challenge, Mike Tindall got covered in green ants, while Owen was repeatedly dunked in a tank of yabbies, eels and mudcrabs.

Jill, Matt Hancock and Sue Cleaver were then revealed to be winners of the beach day outing.
‘You really, really deserve this after what you went through. And the fact that you’re so hungry,’ Matt told Jill.
Owen added to camera that he’s happy for Jill winning the ultimate prize.

During Monday’s show, Jill hinted at a secret feud with campmate Boy George.
The Lioness, 35, said that she didn’t want to get on the wrong side of the Culture Club singer, 65, and would do anything for a ‘quiet life’.
Jill and George found themselves on washing duty with the Karma Chameleon opting to use the pond instead of the bath.

Later in the Bush Telegraph Jill said: ‘Today, George added a new process for what he wanted to do and there was no way I was going to change his mind’.
Before adding: ‘I’m just doing as he says. Anything for an easy life.’
DJ Chris previously made similar statements and claimed George might be a difficult person to live with.
Speaking about sharing the RV with the singer he said: ‘I mean if George is in there, best of luck to anyone else who is sleeping in there.’
