I’m A Celeb’s Owen Warner to make millions after becoming jungle’s breakout star
I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!'s Owen Warner is set to make millions after finishing second place in this year's series.
The actor, 23, who played the role of Romeo Nightingale on Hollyoaks, was a fan favourite in the jungle. Yesterday's, Sunday 27 November, finale saw the actor finish second behind winner Jill Scott. Former health secretary Matt Hancock also finished in third place.
Despite acting being his first love, it looks like Owen could add influencer on the list as he reportedly has a line of brands seeking to work with him.
According to The Sun, Owen's potential brands include Boohoo and some of the deals are even up to six figures.
A source told the publication: “The approaches have already started from big, household family brands.
“He takes such good care of his physical and mental health, has family values and a strong work ethic and that’s all a big plus to these sorts of companies. He’s a really safe bet for brands and he is a clothes horse for sure!
“But he’s likely to be really selective about what he does and he will take great care to consider who he is aligning with.”
Owen has played the role of Romeo since 2018 and is said to have signed a new 18 month contract before he entered the jungle.
“Owen has no plans to abandon his passion for all the deals coming his way," the source continued. "He’s returning to Hollyoaks and he has made clear that maintaining his integrity as an actor is the priority.”
During his exit interview, Owen spoke about how the jungle had matured him in multiple ways.
He said: "I think when you're at your lowest, when you were at a really low point in life, you really learn what you're made of. And in there I was really struggling.
"There's a lot of big characters, and I'm only 23. I felt like I'm very much at the beginning of my journey, and people have had a crazy, crazy journey and done so much stuff and I was comparing myself."
He added: "But I just thought 'I can't compare myself. I've got to live my own journey'. Realising that it's really just helped me to mature to be comfortable in myself."
After Jill was crowned the winner, Owen was reunited with his mum, dad and brothers Jake and Louie.
