J-Los stern words to husband Ben Affleck as he goes viral for miserable Grammys face
Jennifer Lopez had some stern words for her husband Ben Affleck at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
In an awkward moment caught on camera during the show, Jennifer, 53, was seen snapping at Ben, 50, as they sat beside host Trevor Noah during a segment.
The clip, which has since gone viral, appears to show heated words exchanged between the pair, with their alleged words to each other now being revealed by a lip reader.
According to MailOnline, Jennifer told Ben: “Stop. Look more friendly. Look motivated”, after he was seen whispering in her ear.
Ben, donning an unimpressed face, replied: “I might”, while shifting in his seat uncomfortably.
Jennifer was then seen frostily turning her face away, before realising she and Ben were on camera, and proceeded to watch host Trevor, 38, continue his segment.
Fans shared their observations following the viral clip, with one person writing on TikTok: "The Grammy producers are so messy for this but I love it."
A second chimed: ''HER FACE WHEH SHE SAW THE CAMERA LOL."
A third joked: "Jennifer Garner at home eating popcorn like…'Girlllllll he's your problem now'."
Following the clip, fans also pointed out that Ben appeared stony-faced during Stevie Wonder’s performance of Higher Ground at the Grammys.
One person quipped: “Ben Affleck looks like he'd rather be at Dunkin’."
“Why does Ben Affleck always look like he's 10 minutes away from crying during a much-needed smoke break,” a second commented.
A third wrote: “Ben Affleck looks like he'd rather be at the dentist.”
Despite Jennifer’s gripes with her husband on Grammy night, she gushed over Ben in footage shared from their time at the ceremony, posted on Instagram on Monday.
In one clip, Jennifer was seen giving Ben a kiss as they posed together at the event.
The Shotgun Wedding star looked glamorous dressed in a midnight blue sheer dress with a wide-open slit and a gathered ruffle train, and crystal trail embellishments.
Jennifer’s hair shone bright with honey highlights and was styled in retro waves, as the singer dripped with iced-out jewellery.
Ben looked dapper in a dark navy blue suit to match his wife, along with a white shirt and black tie.
Jennifer captioned: “Always the best time with my love, my husband #Grammys @recordingacademy #ThisIsMeNow”.
It seems like all is forgiven between the couple, following that now infamous Grammy moment.
