Jennifer Lopez has offered fans insight into her first Christmas with her husband Ben Affleck since they tied the knot earlier this year.
In a newsletter shared with her fans, the actress, 53, revealed she spent the holiday ‘hunkered down at home’ with her new spouse, her twins, and his three children from his first marriage, joking it was ‘double the people and triple the chaos.’
Jennifer, who revealed that her Christmas was themed around the symbolism of the hummingbird, also shared that her family joined her for a festive taco night after being forced to put their tradition on ice during the Covid pandemic.

Writing in her newsletter, Jennifer shared her joy and explained she themed the festivities around hummingbirds which she sees as a symbol of love.
She wrote: ‘I like to create a theme for every holiday. I wrote a song called Hummingbird for my new album, This Is Me Now.
‘To me, hummingbirds are messengers of love. They’re very agile – can fly forward, backward, and up and down.
‘They’re also the fastest bird but they always have time to stop, eat something sweet and smell the roses. I identify with them, but more than anything, whenever I see one, I feel like it’s a sign from God that everything is going to be OK.
‘So, I decided this year that the hummingbird would be a perfect theme.’

Jennifer then went onto reveal that she and Ben celebrated Christmas with their blended family.
She added: ‘We have blended families, doubled the people, doubled the fun, doubled the love, doubled the presents and tripled the chaos!’
Jennifer decorated her tree with a hummingbird theme and even wore the bird’s colours for her Christmas party.
She explained: ‘I wanted to have a tree in the house that was a hummingbird tree, reminding us that everything done in love and with love will always be OK.
‘I also picked hummingbird colours for my holiday party dress this year.
‘It’s a Gucci dress that I’ve had in my closet which I bought a year ago and I’ve been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear. I thought it was perfect for our Hummingbird Christmas Party.’

Revealing how she and Ben celebrated the holiday season, the star revealed that her family came together for a taco night.
She added: ‘For the past 8 years we’ve been doing a Christmas Edition Taco Tuesday, where we get together and dress up and sing Christmas carols.
‘During the pandemic that went to the wayside, so this was the first time in a long time we were able to get together with people that we haven’t seen in forever.
‘The party was filled with family, friends, colleagues, and people we’ve known from over the years. We sang and danced and had the most amazing time!’

Jennifer notably tied the knot with Ben Affleck earlier this year during an intimate Las Vegas wedding in July, followed by an additional extravagant ceremony at the actor’s Georgia estate in August.
The performer shares twins, Emme and Maximilian, 14, with her ex, Marc Anthony, and became stepmother to Ben’s three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
In another picture added into the newsletter, Jennifer showed a glamorous snap of herself posing at the top of a staircase while wearing an eye-catching Gucci gown that she had donned for her Christmas party held earlier this month.
The star hosted a holiday bash alongside her husband, Ben, which was held at their Los Angeles home. A number of celebrities were in attendance, including Kim Kardashian, Billie Eilish and Doja Cat.
