Jessica Simpson looked nothing short of sensual of sensational while modeling a $119 black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline from her clothing line on Monday.
Less than 24 hours after revealing she was ‘hurt deeply’ about the comments about her apparent slurred speech in a recent Pottery Barn ad, the star, 42, posed for a stunning snap of herself laying down on a bed as she looked into the distance.
‘Penny for your thoughts,’ her clothing line cheekily captioned the image.

On Sunday, Simpson appeared to respond to concern from fans that she was slurring her words in the ‘strange’ ad with a video of her singing along to her 2020 song Party of One.
In addition to passionately reciting the lyrics ‘I don’t give a f**k about you,’ she wrote a lengthy caption, declaring that she’s been alcohol-free for five years while detailing how she blocks out the ‘destructive noise’ of people’s comments and judgements.
She also belted out the chorus of the poignant ballad: ‘Look in the mirror/ Straight in my eyes/ Tell myself I’m not broken/ Just ’cause I cry/ It’s a love song/ Party of one.’
Hitting back: On Sunday, Simpson appeared to respond to concern from fans that she was slurring her words in the ‘strange’ ad with a video of her singing along to her 2020 song Party of One
‘I’m not weak ’cause I don’t want to fight/ I am more than my body/ More than my wealth/ I am more than these demons/ Holding me down/ It’s a love song/ Party of one/ I know it’s bad for my health to hate myself.’
Simpson began her caption writing: ‘I needed to be in my studio today because this is where I ground myself and heal. As much as I have learned to block out destructive noise…peoples’ comments and judgements can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging “you will never be good enough,”’ she began her caption.
‘The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism, is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it. I am capable of pretty much anything I care enough about to put my mind to. I am present. I am deeply inspired. I am determined. I am honest. I care about other people.’

No alcohol: ‘The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism, is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it,’ she added
She went on: ‘After grounding myself just now with my voice and the lyrics across my heart, I feel compassion for the opinionated hate that some people can so effortlessly just blurt out with such intensity on social media or in the media in general.’
‘We all have our days of wanting to be, look, do, and feel better. Nobody is alone with that feelin’ that I can promise you. I woke up at the same time anxious and insecure but also also angry and defensive — like some of you.’
‘I know what works for me and that is to let go and simply sing while lookin directly inside the mirror, straight in my eyes to really see and understand myself. I can connect with my heartbeat. I am stable and strong. I am home.’

‘A little advice…live inside your dreams and move through them. Don’t give up on yourself because someone else did. Stay true to YOU. It has worked for me in this chaotic life thus far. Nothin’ and nobody will rob me of my joy. Ya might come close but it is mine to own. Yours should be too.’

‘I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,’ she said. When asked if she feels ‘healthy,’ the siren said: ‘I absolutely feel healthy.’
She added, ‘I don’t know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild.
‘I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!’

She works out more often: her trainer is Harley Pasternak.
And she follows Harley’s Body Reset Diet plan, which includes three meals a day to ‘keep the metabolism humming’ as well as smoothies and snacks.
Junk food is a rarity but sometimes she cheats with sweets like powdered donuts.
Terri asked, ‘Why are people obsessed with your weight and how you look? Have you gotten used to it?’
‘Oh, gosh, no,’ she said. ‘Would any woman?’
And she added sometimes the insults get to her.

Jessica said, ‘I’ve been criticized, and it hurts, but I’ve been every weight and I’ve been proud of it. I decided, “Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance.”‘
As far as always being known as Daisy Dukes from her film Dukes Of Hazzard, she said she is fine with it.
‘Lynda Carter warned me on the set of Dukes of Hazzard. She was like, “I will always be Wonder Woman and compared to Wonder Woman, and that’s what you’re doing here as Daisy Duke. Just know the words ‘Daisy Duke’ will follow you for the rest of your career,”‘ said Simpson.

The star talked her fashion empire too; she took control of the Jessica Simpson Collection last year.
Simpson said it feels inspiring to control her company.
She went on, ‘I still feel like I have someone to answer to. And then I’m like, “Okay, it’s just us 10 girls.” We got this, but everything is growing. We’re having our biggest quarter that we’ve had right now in, like, eight years, so my mom and I knew we could do it, and we’re doing it and I just, you know, I feel very blessed.’
