Jimmie Allen Dropped By Label Following New Sexual Assault Allegations

Record label BBR Music Group has dropped Jimmie Allen following new sexual assault allegations against the country star.

“BBR Music Group has dissolved its relationship with Jimmie Allen, he is no longer an active artist on its roster,” BBR Music Group said in a statement sent to Billboard.

A new lawsuit filed by an unnamed woman accuses Allen of battery, assault and invasion of privacy. The woman says she agreed to meet Allen in Las Vegas in July 2022 after meeting him on a flight. She alleges that the singer sexually assaulted her in his hotel room and secretly filmed the act.

The woman claims that her efforts to delete the video from the phone were in vain and adds that she reported the incident to the police department in Sacramento. Police subsequently reported it to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

Allen was previously placed under suspension by the label following allegations of rape and sexual harassment by a “Jane Doe,” who had worked as a day-to-day manager at his former management company, Wide Open Music.

Allen’s booking agency UTA and his management company The Familie had also placed him on suspension in May. His public relations company, Full Coverage Communications, stopped working with him, and he was also dropped from the lineup of performers at CMA Fest.

Allen has called the allegations “false” and vowed to “defend and take all legal action necessary to protect his reputation.”
