Justin Theroux leaves red heart emoji on ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram post promoting her Allure cover story where she detailed IVF heartbreak
Justin Theroux showed his support for ex-wife Jennifer Aniston after she opened up about her battle to conceive via IVF in an emotional Allure interview this week.
The actor, 51, who was married to the Friends star, 53 from 2015-2017, posted heart and fist bump emojis below Jennifer’s Instagram post promoting her interview on Wednesday.
‘I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,’ Jennifer said of her IVF journey, which the magazine notes was ‘several years ago’.

‘All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it.’
The actress added that she wishes someone had told her to freeze her eggs when she was younger, adding that she has now come to terms with the fact that she will never conceive children.
‘I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, “Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.” You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed,’ she said.
Jennifer – who spent ten years starring on the hit sitcom Friends, from 1994 until 2004 – admitted that she was too focused on her career to think about the fact that her future self may one day want to settle down and have children, although she hit out at the constant scrutiny she faced for not getting pregnant during her five-year marriage to Pitt.
‘I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child,’ she said. ‘And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was absolute lies. I don’t have anything to hide at this point.’

She then faced further scrutiny during her marriage to Justin with reports at the time of their 2017 split suggesting that part of the reason for their break-up was her inability to have children.
In February 2018, months after their divorce was made public, People magazine reported that the pair had tried for children, but that ‘it didn’t work out’, with one source saying that Jennifer was ‘sad that it never happened but that it never consumed her’.
The actress insisted that she has come to terms with the fact that she won’t have children, noting that she actually feels some ‘relief’ in the fact that the possibility of kids is no longer lingering over her as never-ending ‘maybe’.
Indeed, with age has come a new-found sense of confidence in herself – and the actress said she no longer cares what people think or say about her, thanks in large part to the struggles she faced during her late 30s and 40s.
Although Aniston has made it clear in the past that she remains good friends with both of her exes, she included a surprising admission that Justin had recently dropped by her home.
While giving a tour of her property, she stopped by a cottage that she noted is ‘about 90 percent windows’ and served as Justin’s office while they were married.
‘Welcome to the Babe Cave,’ she joked, adding, ‘You can imagine he likes things black and dark.’
She shared that after the Leftovers star moved out following their split, she ‘lightened it up’ and ‘stripped it all.’
‘He came over [the other day] and was like, “What the f*** did you do?” I said, “I brought the light back in, buddy,”‘ she recalled.
Jennifer also said she hasn’t closed the door on love altogether after divorces from Brad Pitt and Justin and high-profile relationships with Vince Vaughn and John Mayer.
When asked if she would ever marry again she replied, ‘Never say never, but I don’t have any interest.
‘I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, “I need support.” It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, “That was a tough day.”‘
