Kanye West checks out the construction progress on his $57.3 million Malibu estate… while daughter North makes waves at Paris Fashion Week

While his nine-year-old daughter North is making a splash at Paris Fashion Week with mother Kim Kardashian, Kanye West decided to check out his mansion-in-progress.

The 45-year-old rapper was spotted hanging out outside of his Tadao Ando-designed Malibu mansion, while extensive renovations are under way on the home, which he plunked down $57.3 million for back in September 2021.

He even interacted with a window cleaning crew that gave him a flyer, before he left the property in an Uber.

West was wearing a light blue-grey Budweiser t-shirt under a thick black coat for his outing.

He also wore black pants and his now-signature black rubber boots as he hung out on the property.

West even accepted a flier from a window-cleaning crew while waiting for his Uber, which ultimately picked him up and left the property.

West’s new abode, a beachside home that is one of just a handful of American homes designed by the acclaimed architect Ando.

The 3,665 square foot home sits on a 5,672 square foot lot, featuring 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

The three-story home leads directly onto the beach, which reportedly required, ‘1,200 tons of poured concrete, 200 tons of steel reinforcement and 12 pylons driven 60 feet into the ground, supporting the monstrously heavy house from sinking into the sand,’ according to The Dirt’s September 2021 report.

The billionaire rapper is also facing a new lawsuit filed last week, which claimed he infringed on the copyright of a sample for the song Flowers on his Donda album.

West is accused of using a sample from the 1986 Marshall Jefferson house track Move Your Body, aka The House Music Anthem, without prior permission or paying compensation, according to Billboard.

The sample is ‘repeated at least 22 times throughout’ the song, according to a complaint filed by Jefferson’s publisher Ultra International Music Publishing in US District Court in New York.

‘To hear the way somebody chopped a sample in. We are rushing in to see who could get the bad boy mixed tape and play back the original version of Benjamin’s over an end over,’ he added.
