Katie Price confirms she’s single with brutal update amid dog death

Reality star Katie Price has confirmed she is single as she has split from her partner Carl Woods just one day after the tragic death of her dog. The star took to her Instagram to show off her shorter hair transformation in the wake of her recent struggles.

Explaining the reasons behind the transformation, Katie said: “Extensions out ready for new transformation. Literally had so much s**t thrown at me and being single now.”

She continued: “And now dealing with the suspicions my dog had been killed deliberately, so being investigated. I need a massive change and move in my life.”

The on/off couple were last pictured together when they went out for a family meal for Katie’s birthday in Brighton at the end of May. However, rumours were sparked that the duo had split after Carl failed to wish Katie a happy birthday on social media.

The mum of five shared a selection of birthday messages that she had received on social media including messages from her two oldest children Princess and Junior. But there was no birthday wish from her fiance Carl on either of their accounts. She was also spotted without her engagement ring during a night out in Spain.

The duo were introduced by a mutual friend and started their relationship in 2020. During their relationship, they got each other's faces tattooed on their bodies and it was reported last month that Katie was working on a TV show which would document her surrogacy journey.

This follows after the reality star recently lost her longtime pooch Blade, a black Alsatian, who appeared with her on the TV series Katie Price's Mucky Mansion in recent months. In the same Instagram post, Katie said she's been "dealing with suspicions" that her beloved dog was "killed deliberately".

Katie announced the loss of her dog Blade when she shared a throwback snap of the pair enjoying a walk in the countryside on Monday. She wrote: “Words can’t express the loss of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today," Katie captioned the post. "I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade."

Blade is the eighth pet Katie has lost in the space of six years, and while it's not known exactly why all of her animals have died, a petition has been gaining traction online to "ban Katie Price from having anymore animals".

The star also lost her Pomeranian pup, Sharon, in November 2022 after she escaped onto a road near her home and was hit by a car.
