She turned heads in a show-stopping Toy Story inspired costume to celebrate Halloween this weekend.

But it appears that Kendall Jenner has ruffled some feathers with the look, facing a wave of backlash from fans via social media after sharing snaps.

The model, 26, posted to her 262M Instagram followers, many of which took to the comments section to share their disapproval – penning that she was ‘ruining’ the children’s movie.

Dressing up as cowgirl Jessie from the Pixar film franchise, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star amped up the sex appeal for the look.

Sporting a pair of cow print chaps over dark-wash denim hot pants, Kendall displayed her svelte frame as she teamed an ultra-cropped shirt with the look.

She swapped her raven locks for a copper wig in one snap, adding Jessie’s signature Western hat on top.

And sharing some more shots of the look slightly modified, she added an bardot crop top ionstead of the shirt, styling her own hair into two braids underneath the hat. 

And despite feeling the love from many pals and fans in the comment section, many took to the post to share their unapproving thoughts. 

Noting the skin-baring nature of the costume, many pointed out that the Toy Story movies are aimed at a younger audience of aged five and upwards.

‘Why sexualise a character that is for children?? Seriously, why??’ wrote one confused Instagram user.

While one other commenter described the look as ‘hella disrespectful’. 

She donned the costume for a dress-up Halloween party in Los Angeles on Saturday evening, heading out with her sister Kylie – who went for a Bride of Frankenstein costume. 

She captioned one snap: ‘well aren’t you just the sweetest space toy’
