Khloe Kardashian invites Tristan Thompson to son's birth after cheating scandal

Khloe Kardashian brushed aside her heartbreak to invite Tristan Thompson to their son’s birth in new scenes revealed in the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians. 

The Good American founder welcomed her second child with NBA star Tristan this summer, but kept details of their baby boy’s birth under wraps. 

As the new Kardashians episode debuted on Monday, Khloe, 38, shared the first glimpse inside the birth as her surrogate went into labour. 

Khloe, who also shares four-year-old daughter True with Tristan, was seen deciding whether to allow him into the hospital room in light of their controversial break-up last December, when it emerged that the basketball star was expecting a baby with fitness trainer Maralee Nichols despite starting the surrogacy process with Khloe. 

In the latest episode of her family’s reality series, Khloe said: ‘I’ve been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here so I just figured, why not let him come? I’ll never get this moment back.’ 

One scene shows Khloe handing Tristan, 31, their newborn before he exclaims: ‘She looks like True!’ 

Opening up about her new bundle of joy, Khloe told the cameras: ‘I am so grateful. It’s such a beautiful gift that we’re able to have. 

‘Ever since December, it’s been this dark cloud looming over me. Every single day, I’ve been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy. It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me.’ 

She continued: ‘Now I finally get to start the healing process. Now I get to start enjoying my life with two kids in it and figuring this out. This is gonna be day one, and this is gonna be the start of something positive, and happy and beautiful.’ 

After season one ended with Khloe learning that Tristan was having another baby outside of their relationship, the new episode sees her discuss the betrayal for the first time. 

‘There is something I am ready to talk about. Tristan and I are having another baby and it’s supposed to be a really exciting time, but it’s just a different experience,’ she said. 

‘This has been a difficult time in my life, but it’s the start of something positive and happy and beautiful.’ 

The Kardashians is available to watch on Hulu via Disney Plus in the UK.
