Kim Kardashian reveals her staff wears ‘all neutrals’ to match the ‘zen’ decor in her $60MIL home… but insists they’re all ‘on board’ with the dress code

Kim Kardashian said she likes to keep her house ‘zen’ – even when it comes to the outfits worn by her staff members.

The 42-year-old socialite talked about the minimalist decor in her $60 million Calabasas mansion on Angie Martinez’s IRL Podcast Monday.

She started by explaining her low-key decorating style saying ‘when I post pictures of my house, [social media followers are] either like, ‘wow, this is so minimal and crazy’ or they get it. But I love it.’

When asked if all of her house staff wear subdued colors on purpose, Kardashian confirmed as much. 

‘Absolutely,’ she said. ‘I have uniforms.’ 

She went on to clarify that she doesn’t have exact uniform standards, but she does give her employees a color palette to work from. 

The colors her workers are allowed to wear are ‘grays, heather gray, black, navy, white, cream, khaki … I mean, we can stick with all neutrals. Not a lot of color blocking.’

During her recent podcast appearance, Kim also discussed Balenciaga’s controversial ad campaign featuring toddlers holding BDSM-themed teddy bears.

The interviewer touched on Kim’s delayed response to the controversy, which had sparked backlash online.

Initially, the entrepreneur said she didn’t know what was happening as she is ‘not in this campaign’ and felt that she ‘completely denounced’ child porn in her statement.

Still, she said ‘people got mad’ that she didn’t call for the brand to be cancelled or post ‘f**k you, Balenciaga.’ 

‘There is absolutely no place or an ounce to even play with anything with children like any sexualization of children,’ the SKIMS founder made clear. ‘There’s not an ounce of that should be in our brains, in our society. I get that.’

Despite telling her more than 337million Instagram followers that the controversial ad ‘disgusted’ her last month, Kim said ‘no matter what’ she says ‘there will be people who have a problem’ with whatever she says. 

The mother-of-four also chatted with Angie about co-parenting her children with Kanye. 

When talking about doing everything in her power to protect her kids, the star tearfully stated, ‘I had the best dad. I don’t want to get emotional. It has just been a day for me.’

‘So, if they don’t know things that are being said, or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them?’ the businesswoman continued.
