Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix docuseries has been slated as “revenge” by Kirstie Allsopp before she took a savage dig at Piers Morgan. The Location, Location, Location presenter sparked a flurry of comments when she addressed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In the latest dramatic trailer of the couple’s self-titled new series, Harry, 37, branded their former royal life as a “dirty game” as he addressed the scrutiny from the press.

In the clip, Harry also discussed the “pain and suffering” of women marrying into the Royal Family.

He says: “It’s really hard to look back on it now and go ‘what on earth happened?'”

Clips show the Sussexes receiving rapturous applause while carrying out royal duties as well as their engagement and subsequent wedding in 2018.

The teaser then cuts to Meghan saying “and then” before snapping her fingers with Harry adding: “Everything changed.”

“There’s a hierarchy of the family, you know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories. It’s a dirty game,” Harry continued.

Kirstie, 51, took to Twitter yesterday and addressed the pair’s latest move before their new series is set to be released on December 8.

The Channel 4 presenter suggested that the couple’s docuseries could be considered a form of “revenge”.

In a follow up post, she argued: “It’s totally OK to leave the family firm, but don’t try and crash the share price after you’ve left. H&M wanted to have their cake & eat it too, and that’s not how it works. If you want to be royal work for it, if you don’t you’re welcome to be like the rest of us.”

Her tweets caused a social media stir as many came to Harry and Meghan’s defence for sharing their story.

Wells wrote: “As none of us have actually seen these documentaries as yet, I feel it wise to reserve judgement.”

Abbie tweeted: “They’re damned if they do & damned if they don’t.”

Annie chimed in: “Always two sides to every story. Believe whichever one you want, but they have a right to be heard. The sooner the monarchy realises it is not above the law the better.”

Kirstie then took a swipe at Piers, 57, who has been vocal about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Twitter user, Ms Fleets tweeted: “It was ok for [Christiano] Ronaldo to complain to Piers Morgan though.”

To which Kirstie hit back: “Nothing involving Tiny Tears Morgan is OK.”

This is not the first time the Channel 4 presenter has taken aim at the former Good Morning Britain presenter – Kirstie and Piers have gone back and forth over the years with their divided opinions on coronavirus related issues.

Elsewhere, Meghan and Harry looked to be in good spirits as they arrived in New York for the Ripple of Hope Awards, a gala hosted by the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights organisation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been given the award for opposing “structural racism” within the Royal Family.

The couple was honoured at last night’s event, which was organised by the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights group, alongside ex-NBA legend Bill Russell and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of the late Bobby Kennedy, handed the Sussexes their award and praised them for “showing up”.
