Leigh-Anne Pinnock sends fans wild as she teases new solo music days after wedding

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has sent her fans into a frenzy after she dropped a giant teaser about upcoming new solo music.

The former Little Mix star, 31, who is yet to launch her solo career following the girl band's hiatus, hinted that it won't be long before her first single is released.

The mum-of-two, who got married to her footballer boyfriend Andre Gray at the weekend, posted the tease on her Instagram page.

Following an initial hint on her Discord community page, the star shared a video clip of her dancing towards the screen.

The promo featured Leigh-Anne in dark futuristic lighting, as a clever digital effect showed what appeared to be black and white checked light flowing across her body and face.

The star delivered a dramatic performance in the short video, as she chose not to reveal the new song's name or release date.

Instead, she simply captioned the post: "#leighanneiscoming."

Leigh-Anne has also decided to delete every other post from her Instagram grid, placing the focus solely on her exciting new music.

Fans and friends raced to the comments in excitement for what's to come, with close friend and fellow Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall one of the first to show her support.

"WE ARE READYYYYYYY," she commented, alongside a fiery heart emoji.

"Did you just hear me screaming?" another person asked.

A third squealed: "OKAY DISCO LEIGH THIS SURPRISED TF OUT ME."

"LEIGH IT’S HAPPENING CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? I’M SO PROUD OF YOU," a fourth fan gushed.

While another added: "getting all the hype u DESERVE."

Last year, the band announced they would be taking a break to focus on different projects and their own solo careers.

The news from Leigh-Anne, Perrie Edwards and Jade came as devastating to the group's millions of fans, especially after they'd already mourned the departure of fifth original band member Jesy Nelson a year earlier.

But while Jesy has firmly distanced herself from Little Mix and the rest of the girls in the months since, the others were keen to insist that they would be returning to the band one day.
