Lily Allen shows off hair transformation as she ditches long locks for chic bob
Lily Allen has debuted her brand new look, after chopping off her long hair in favour of a chic bob.
The singer revealed her new hairstyle on Instagram on Wednesday, as she shared a stunning selfie on her stories.
The 37 year old showcased her stylish chin-length bob, while she still rocked her signature fringe.
Lily posed for the snap against a bright blue wall, as she wore a grey jumper with some stacked gold necklaces.
She wore a glamorous face of makeup in the snap, in which she tagged celebrity hairdresser George Northwood.
Lily has been rocking longer hair in recent months, including during her recent performance at Glastonbury with Olivia Rodrigo.
The mum-of-two was the special guest during Olivia’s set at Glastonbury – performing her hit song F**k You in response to the US Supreme Court's decision upend abortion rights.
Olivia, 19, surprised the crowd at the Other Stage on Saturday to bring out Lily – describing it as "the biggest dream come true" to perform alongside her.
But popstar Olivia said she had mixed emotions ahead of her first performance at the festival, with the US Supreme Court overturning the Roe v Wade case – which ended the country's constitutional right to having an abortion.
In response to the case being overturned, which was in place from 1973, Olivia said she felt "devastated and terrified" by the decision.
She said: “Today is a very special day because it’s actually my first Glastonbury and I’m sharing the stage with Lily, which is the biggest dream come true.
“But I’m also equally as heartbroken over what happened in America yesterday. The Supreme Court decided to overturn Roe v Wade, which is a law that ensures a woman’s right to receive abortion and other basic human rights.
“I’m devastated and terrified, so many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.”
As she introduced Lily’s hit song, she added: “I wanted to dedicate this next song to five members of the Supreme Court who have shown us that at the end of the day they truly don’t give a s**t about freedom.”
As Olivia's band played the opening chords the crowd erupted into cheers.
Olivia and Lily were just a number of musicians who condemn the decision at the festival, including Billie Eilish, Idles, and Phoebe Bridgers.
