Lindsay Lohan pregnant! Star ‘blessed’ to be expecting first child

Lindsay Lohan has announced that she is set to welcome her first child.

The Mean Girls and Freaky Friday actress shared the wonderful news that she is expecting her first child with her husband Bader Shammas, whom she married last July.

Lindsay, 36, revealed the exciting life update with an adorable snap of a white babygro on her Instagram page.

Over the top, the star wrote in black writing: "Coming soon…" and shared her joy with fans.

"We are blessed and excited!" the actress captioned her post, as her followers flocked to the comments to congratulate the couple.


"Omg congrats Lindsay!" one person wrote.

Another shared: "Congrats LL and Bader!! So excited for you."

"I knew it! I dreamt about you pregnant a few months ago!!!! Congratsss!!" a third excited fan said.

While a fourth cried: "OMG CONGRATULATIONS," followed by many others gushing over the star.

Lindsay is yet to reveal whether she is carrying the child or has used a surrogate, as the star's post simply hinted she will be growing her family very soon.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, the 90s The Parent Trap icon opened up further on her news.

"We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!" she shared.

Lindsay was last seen attending the Christian Siriano fashion runway show in New York City last month.

The actress rocked a vintage 70s style curly blow dry and matching golden Hollywood-style makeup for the event, as she was pictured posing in front of a stunning floral arch that was adorned with hundreds of white, pink and lilac roses.

Lindsay opted for a satin rust-coloured get-up which featured a loose fitting cape and top and trouser combo.

The star's most recent Instagram posts have all been close ups of her face and neck, with one even showing her rocking an ultra curly hair style different to anything she's been known for in the past.

Lindsay's recent glamorous styles have blown away her fans and past colleagues in the industry, as Jamie Lee Curtis was one of the first to say: "OH MY 'GOOD' NESS."

Paris Hilton posted a series of heart eye emojis to her longtime friend.
