Lisa Vanderpump 'Gobsmacked' Over Tom Sandoval & Raquel Leviss' Affair, Thinks They Had 'A Game Plan'

Lisa Vanderpump is speaking out about Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ affair!

On Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the reality TV maven revealed she was “gobsmacked” after the shocking Vanderpump Rules drama hit the internet last week because she, like the rest of us, didn’t see this coming AT ALL. She dished:

“Flabbergasted. I mean, literally, no words. I didn’t see it coming. Nobody saw it coming.”

When asked if she had suspected anything while filming season 10, she added:

“No, nothing. Nothing at all. And that’s what I don’t understand, is all the cast, I mean, when we’re filming a show, we see everything and more.”

Wow. How’d they manage to keep this under wraps for so long then!?

As for how Ariana Madix has been doing post-breakup, Lisa said they’ve been filming scenes together for the series and this drama has become “an integral part of the story.” It’s bound to be very emotional since the 37-year-old is rightfully “devastated” after discovering her partner of nine years was cheating on her with *potentially* two women! According to reports, Ariana first discovered the Scandoval affair after finding an intimate video and texts on Tom’s phone at one of his concerts last week. Vanderpump shared:

“A lot of tears. Ariana was always that ride-or-die girlfriend. It seems like Raquel was the ride girlfriend and she was the die girlfriend — not good.”

OMG! The whole ordeal has opened the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum’s eyes to who Raquel really is, she noted:

“I clearly didn’t know who Raquel was. She stuck her toe in the Peter pond, she snagged Oliver , she schmoozed with Schwartz and she shagged Scandoval.”

Yeesh. While she did suggest Sandoval might be out of a job — and jokingly offered his gig to the WWHL bartender — Lisa explained she was leaning on humor because the whole situation is “so upsetting” for the entire cast, saying:

“It really was so upsetting. I was laughing about it — I mean, if it wasn’t sad, it would be funny. But I can’t believe — because there’s so much fallout.”

That said, while she doesn’t trust the TomTom co-owner anymore, she still has a soft spot for him and the entire VPR gang:

“I want to be really clear and distinct about my feelings here, but I love each and one of them. All of their misgivings, I still love them. But sometimes, no, I would not leave my baby with them — for sure.”

On whether or not she believed Tom’s apology — which he technically had to share twice since the first time he didn’t mention Ariana at all — she commented:

“Obviously it was because he got some sort of reaction to the first apology that he felt he needed to for Ariana. But I don’t think these apologies are worth the paper or the social media they are written on. I want to see true contrition and when the reunion comes I hope we can all sit down and have a better understanding how this happened, why this happened, and when this happened.”

We would ALL like those deets, too!

The same goes for the 28-year-old’s apology, which she wants to “discuss.” Andy then wondered if the 62-year-old thinks “they’re really in love,” and she had a HOT TAKE on that:

“No, because it’s been so long. I think they had a game plan. I think it was to get through the reunion, then to let the bomb kind of drop, and if there was another season, then have a few weeks, a few months for people to get used to it. But just by the longevity… I don’t know. I thought he was in love with Ariana, so maybe no.”

She also addressed allegations that Scheana Shay punched Raquel after finding out about the affair, saying:

“Yeah, I think she did. I think she slapped around the chops. But you know what, her feelings would be running really high. Because Ariana’s been her best friend for like, 12 years. You forget, it’s not just the show — they were together working four, five years before the show. I mean, they grew up together. So, she very much kind of has Ariana’s back.”

Elsewhere during the episode, the UK native confirmed she won’t be cutting ties with Tom or Tom Schwartz because of this controversy, sharing that their business partnerships are still intact. Moving forward, she urged fans to stop sending hateful comments Tom and Raquel’s way because there can be “serious ramifications” to all the online hate, insisting social media users should “condemn their actions but don’t condemn the people.” Lisa, like all viewers at home, is now hoping the reunion will finally explain the situation in full, she shared:

“We will have a much better understanding when we get through the reunion. But I think it is going to be really tough. I don’t think it is going to be the same reunion where there are these accusations flying because they admitted to it. I think it is going to be difficult. … This is huge. This is breaking up a couple that has been together for years and the deceit. acted like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
