Lori Loughlin appears at FIRST awards show since serving prison time for 2018 college admissions scandal as she hits the red carpet at the 30th Annual Movieguide Awards
It appears Lori Loughlin is slowly getting back to a more public life in the wake of her two-month prison sentence for her part in the college admissions scandal.
On Friday, the Full House star attended the 30th Annual Movieguide Awards in Los Angeles, which is her first awards ceremony since her release from the Federal Corrections Institution, Dublin in Dublin, California in December 2020.
The event is actually her second red carpet event since the scandal broke, considering she attended the DesignCare 2022 Gala to benefit the HollyRod Foundation back in mid-June 2022 in Los Angeles.
Opting to stand out among the other stars at the event, that honors the best of family-friendly movies, television programs and spiritually uplifting entertainment, the 58-year-old actress stepped out on to the red carpet in a pink ensemble with close friend and former co-star Candace Cameron Bure by her side.
The duo, who were co-presenters during the Hollywood gala at the Avalon Theater, smiled as they posed together and separately, all while avoiding any questions from the media.

Loughlin did in fact stand out in the electric pink suit, consisting of pants that flared out from the knees down and a matching blazer and heels.
Her outfit also included a pink-patterned turtleneck top, all while she accessorized with a pink box purse that she held on to during her time in the spotlight.
She rounded out her overall look with her blonde locks styled in a high bun while leaving some long hair down the sides of her face.
Seemingly enjoying her time with her gal pal, Cameron Bure, 46, showed off her fab figure in a white mini dress that hugged her mid-section and fell to just above her knees.
The Full House and Fuller House alum also donned a pair of stylish black pumps, and pulled her blonde tresses back off her face and into a bun, with the exception of some strands of hair she left dangling around the frame of her face.
Recognizing one of the photographers on the red carpet, Loughlin then proceeded to share a hug with that person just before going inside for the ceremony.
Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli were both arrested in March 2019 for their involvement in the college admissions scandal organized by Rick Singer.
They both pleaded guilty in May 2020 for falsely designating daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, even though neither ever participated in the sport.
In the end, the actress served nearly two months in a low-security prison between October and December 2020, agreed to pay a $150,000 fine, and do 150 hours of community service, while Giannulli, 59, served nearly five-months behind bars from November 2020 to April 2021.

Commonly described as ‘The Christian Oscars’ in industry circles, awards are presented to the most inspirational projects in Hollywood released in 2022, honoring actors, directors, producers, studio executives, and others who made these projects a reality.
‘We are thrilled to celebrate inspirational movies, streaming, and television programs in person this year,’ said Movieguide Founder and Publisher Dr. Ted Baehr.
‘It’s so encouraging to see that families are continuing to vote with their dollars…they’re choosing to watch content that promotes forgiveness, self-sacrifice, teamwork, redemption, and more positive attributes,’ Baehr added.
