Love Island teaser sees Jessie confront Will over ‘dramatic’ reaction to Ellie in game
Love Island couple Will Young and Australia’s Jessie Wynter are set to have their first argument during Sunday night’s explosive episode.
TikTok farmer Will has not had the easiest time in the competition after initially being snubbed by numerous contestants, including former Michelle Keegan body double Olivia Hawkins.
But things seem to be looking up for Will, who Iain Stirling took a cheeky swipe over a few weeks back, after the introduction of bombshell Jessie alongside Aaron Waters last week.
But during Friday’s episode, the contestants sat down to play Truth or Dare, with Ellie Spence garnering quite the reaction from Will, 23, after popping a balloon on him.
The awkward moment will be addressed in Sunday night’s episode when Jessie, 26, admits that his reaction was “a bit too much” for her liking.
"Your reaction to the popping the balloon thing, I wasn’t angry but I was like ‘Oh, you rolling your eyes back into your head was a little bit much'," Jessie says, to which Will replies, “Did I? Did I?”
Jessie, who has undergone quite the transformation since appearing on the Australian version of the show, replies: “Yeah, you were a little bit dramatic with that.”
“OK sorry, I’d like to apologise because I am a bit of a showman,” Will adds.
This comes after former contestant Danica Taylor, who appeared on the show in 2022 with Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, revealed how long island dumplings take.
Of course, fans at home often see dumpings happen in a matter of minutes, with contestants usually reduced to tears when their friends of a few weeks are shipped back home.
Writing in her second column for OK!, the 21 year old former contestant wrote: “I never got to choose who to dump as I was always the one up to leave! But while the decision is being made, so many rumours start going around about why it’s taking so long.
“When I was dumped, we were waiting a long, long time and I’m pretty sure it was because the boys were going back and forth. Sometimes there can be arguments between the Islanders about who to keep and producers might have an input too, helping them work out the pros and cons.
“For the first dumping I was involved in, something definitely went on behind the scenes because we were waiting far too long. The pain of not knowing if you’ll be staying that night is horrendous.
"You’re not allowed to speak to anyone so all you can do is look at photos you’ve taken on your phone, but then you start reminiscing and it’s even sadder."
