Love Islands Coco going back to old job next week as she needs to make money
Love Island dumpee Coco Lodge has revealed she will be returning to her original day job following her stint in the villa, with her saying she "needs to make money".
The reality star, 27, departed the ITV2 show along with fellow Casa Amor bombshell Josh Samuel Le Grove, 22, on Friday, 15 July.
She had originally extended her stay in the villa when she formed a close connection to Andrew Le Page, 27, but he and Tasha Ghouri, 24, were able to reignite their relationship leaving Coco single.
Making an appearance Reality with Will Njobvu, a YouTube podcast, Coco told listeners "I'm living my best life," before adding that should would be returning to "shot girling".
The 27 year old explained that she would be returning to work in nightclubs later in July, which is something she had done before Love Island.
She told presenter Will Njobvu: "I'm actually going to go back to shot girling next week."
Will subsequently joked about the possibility of getting some free shots from her but she quickly shot him down, replying: "Not for free. I need to make money."
Coco admitted she doesn't yet know which club she'll be working at as she works through an agency but she added it would be a student nightclub.
She said, "I'm actually excited. I think it's gonna be fun," adding that she's expecting some cheeky customers to ask if they can "lick her t**s" – referencing a remark by Andrew in the villa.
Coco went onto say she doesn't plan on being a shot girl long-term, with her saying she will do it "just until [she] knows what's happening with opportunities" after the show.
She stated there wasn't currently any opportunities to make money whilst the show still airs. She added: "I'm not just gonna live on my savings, no. So I'm gonna go back [to shot girling]."
The interview teaser saw Will mention a "stigma" around former islanders returning to their previous jobs, to which Coco said: "I don't care. I'll literally sell so many [shots] now."
The latest episode of Reality with Will Njobvu – featuring Coco – will be available on YouTube this Friday (July 22).
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm.
