Love Islands Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu poses with Michelle Heaton at first Dancing On Ice training
Dancing on Ice hopefuls Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Michelle Heaton posted pictures together for the first time since signing onto the popular competition show.
Ekin-Su, who won Love Island last year alongside Davide Sanclimenti, posed with the former Liberty X band member Michelle Heaton as they dressed in gym wear and warm coats for the show’s first training session.
In a video, Ekin-Su, 28, says she met judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and described the experience as “the best.”
The star was clad in a pair of electric blue leggings, which she paired with a white puffer jacket and trainers for the day at Alexandra Palace in North London.
She also carried a Dior navy bag as she asked fans whether she “looked the part.”
“Hi guys, today is the first day on the ice! Do I look the part? I can't wait to get on the ice and skate,” she said to the camera before blowing a kiss.
She added: “Guys I just had my first skating trial on the ice with Chris and Jayne. Omg it was the best! So good.”
Meanwhile, Michelle wore teal leggings and a sweatshirt which she paired with a pair of white Nike trainers and a black padded jacket.
Posting a selfie, she penned: “Here's to a 5am wake up call to stretch & do full makeup for 1st day filming for @dancingonice.”
While Ekin-Su is gearing up to take to the ice, boyfriend Davide revealed he turned down an offer to be on the show because of other commitments.
The 27 year old businessman told The Sun: “I have so much going on and I can't commit to something every day and when I do something I want to do it properly.
“Right now I just can't focus on something like that, for the moment anyway, but in the future maybe I will.”
Dancing on Ice will return to UK screens in January 2023 with a line-up including The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran, actress Carley Stenson, comedian Darren Harriott, Joey Essex and Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher.
Also joining the 2023 cast list are RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne, Olympic athlete Nile Wilson, footballer John Fashanu and former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer.
Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo are set to return as judges.
