Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu crashes onto rink in horror Dancing On Ice accident

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was seen crashing onto the rink in a horror accident as she was practicing for ITV show Dancing On Ice.

Ekin-Su has traded her hot summer in the Love Island villa for intense practices in a cold ice rink as she's one of the contestants in this year's Dancing On Ice.

Together with her figure skating partner Brendyn Hatfield, Ekin-Su has spent months on the ice rink, practicing for the first episode of the show, which is due to air live next Sunday.

But even with months of practice, accidents do still happen, as shown in the video Ekin-Su shared with her 3.2 million Instagram followers.

Wearing an all black unitard with her white ice skates, Ekin-Su can be seen attempting to get into a one footed spin but soon falling onto her bum on the ice.

She soon started to laugh it off as she continued to fall onto her back with her feet up in the air.

As the camera person came closer to her, the star sat up and laughed to the camera.

She added the caption: "Ahahahaha," along with a cry laughing emoji.

Despite the fall, Elin-Su's skating partner Brendyn has high hopes for their chances in the competition.

He told The Sun: "Her schedules been crazy, so the time we've had has been limited – but the time we have had has been good.

"She does pick it up quick, she's got some real talent."

Ekin-Su is not the only one who has suffered a fall during training for the show.

Last month, Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher was seen taking on a daring lift with her partner Sylvain Longchambon, as he held her over his head before she fell onto the ice.

Luckily her injuries were minor as she was soon spotted back on the ice again.

New snaps of all the contestants were revealed earlier this week.

The contestants have all been hard at work ahead of the first live show, which will see them try to impress ice skating royalty Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean with their new skills.

Jayne, 65, and Chris, 64, won Olympic gold when they competed in the winter games in Sarajevo in 1984.

The iconic pair are returning to the show as judges for the fifth year running, having played a part since Dancing on Ice returned in 2018.

Dancing on Ice returns Sunday 15 January at 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
