Love Island’s Maura Higgins enjoys the sunny temperatures in tiny shorts and sports bra

Maura Higgins was the epitome of laid back chic in the scorching summer weather, as she was spotted out and about with a friend.

The Love Island alum, 32, wore a pair of black Nike biker shorts, which accentuated her long legs and toned physique, paired with a plain black sports bra. She finished the casual look with a pair of white trainers and socks.

Adding a typically Maura-esque touch, her socks were branded with the phrase 'f**k off'. The reality star kept her long dark hair swept back from her face, while her makeup was minimal and natural, highlighting her beauty.

She was seen strolling along the sun-drenched streets, chatting with her best friend and hair stylist Carl Bembridge, who was also kitted out in activewear. The duo ventured to Loughton's Molen's restaurant and Maura was later spotted with a large black Superdrug bag.

The Irish scene-stealer rose to fame after appearing on the fifth series of ITV's smash hit reality dating show in 2019, where she finished in fourth place. During her time in the sprawling Spanish villa, she became friends with co-star Molly-Mae Hague, with the pair regularly commenting on each other's social media posts.

It wasn't long until Leah revealed her link to the former Islander as she classifies the Irish social media influencer as one of her best friends. Speaking ahead of the show, Leah said of her favourite ever series moment featured Maura.

Se explained: "My favourite thing I've ever watched is Maura's [Higgins] best bits, she's one of my best friends so we watched it together one night and couldn't stop laughing, she's hilarious."

After Leah's arrival on the show was announced, Maura shared a video of her friend about to walk into the villa. She said: "Nahhhh! Oh my days!" and went on to pen: "SCREEEEMMMIINNNGGG!!!!! FINALLY @leahjtaylorr."

Maura then shared their emotional "last goodbye" in a black-and-white video where they are seen hugging before Leah jetted off for her Love Island adventure. She added: "The last goodbye [heart emoji] go smash it my girl @leahjtaylorr."

Leah has made waves since arriving alongside fellow bombshell Charlotte Sumner. The new additions were permitted to go on dates with three men of their choosing. Mitchel Taylor, Tyrique Hyde and the series' first bombshell, Zachariah Noble all rotated dates with them.
