Love Island’s Tasha ‘in for a rocky road with Andrew’ says psychic
They were one of the series’ longest lasting couples, being matched by the public of the first day, but Love Island couple Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page had more ups and downs than the Blackpool Big Dipper.
And psychic Inbaal Honigman says the path to true love won’t be smooth sailing now they are back in Blighty either.
“They’re in for a rocky road, although they do seem to genuinely care for one another,” she says.
However, relationship expert Ruby Payne is more positive about the pair and predicts they will be moving in together as fast as you can say ‘I’ve got a text!’ “I think these two might actually go the distance,” she says.
The couple were the first to make things official and become boyfriend and girlfriend, with Tasha pulling out all the stops and asking Andrew during a treasure hunt around all the special places to them around the Majorcan villa.
Meanwhile brand expert Dermot McNamara believes deaf contestant Tasha will follow in Rose-Ayling Ellis’ footsteps and be a trailblazer for disability representation.
“I can see her fronting her own documentaries like Stacey Dooley,” he says. While leading talent manager Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE, predicts Tasha will be approached to appear on Good Morning Britain, labelling her the “dark horse” of the series.
However, celebrity PR Dermot McNamara, who is the managing director of Candid Publicity, doesn’t think realtor Andrew is in for as much success.
“I feel like there’s something a bit inauthentic about Andrew,” he says. “And if we as viewers aren’t buying it now, it certainly won’t translate in the outside world.”
Time will only tell if these two will stand the test of time, but during their time in the villa wedding bells were already ringing.
One episode saw Tasha ask Andrew: “Why are you playing with my ring finger?”
Talk then turned to weddings as she asked: “What would you do if I wore a black wedding dress?” to which Andrew replied: “I think you’d look unreal.”
The couple then discussed flower arrangements before talking about timelines with Andrew saying: “Well babe, steady on, you’ve got at least four years.”
Tasha responded: “I am pretty sure you would do it sooner than that.”
Andrew smiled and asked: “You think I’d propose to you sooner than three years?”

Tasha agreed and added: “If we keep going the way we are going, yeah, I reckon so.”
And so with nuptials potentially in their future, it’s not surprising that the pair have already committed to moving in together once they land back on home soil.
“People say it’s a big step but for me it feels natural to do it, it doesn’t feel like a big step because we’ve been in here together 24/7. If anything, I will hate it if we aren’t together,” says Tasha.
