Love Islands Zara and Jordan confirm they are a couple after meeting outside villa
Former Love Island stars Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown and Jordan Odofin have confirmed that they have started dating after meeting following their respective stints in the villa.
Despite both appearing in this year's winter Love Island, bombshells Zara and Jordan never appeared in the villa at the same time, however they have since embarked on a romance after meeting outside the villa.
The new coupled appeared on Reality with Will Njobvu where they confirmed their relationship status when Will asked: "I had you both in the studio at different times.
"You were both in Love Island at different times but you've managed to link up after the show, but from what it looks like on social media and press speculation it looks like you two are now dating."
To which Zara confirmed: "Yeah, we're dating" as Jordan nodded and agreed.
Discussing how they had the shared experience of appearing on Love Island, Zara added that Jordan is her "type to a T" and that when they met the connection was just immediately there.
Jordan also revealed that upon his entry, which was just after Zara had left, he was searching for the actress as producers hadn't told him she had been dumped after Tom Clare chose to re-couple with bombshell Ellie Spence.
Asked how many dates there have been between the pair so far, Zara and Jordan revealed they have been on four "official dates."
Commenting on the pair's revelation, fans of the ITV2 series shared their upset that Zara and Jordan hadn't been paired up while in the villa, with one writing: " I said this!! If they kept Zara in love island her and Jordan would of been perfect but everything happens for a reason! Love this for them!"
"Omggg I love this they def would’ve won this season if they met in the villa" added another, while a third said: "We were so robbed would of loved to of seen these two together on love Island they would of been my winner's."
Rumours of Zara and Jordan's burgeoning romance began spreading after Jordan talked about her on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast.
He told hosts Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson: "My usual type wasn't in the villa when I got there." Admitting he fancied Zara, Jordan added: "We've been speaking. She was definitely my top three."
The pair later went for a sushi date, with Zara sharing a clip of Jordan at the dinner table to her Instagram Story, while he shared a similar clip of Zara on his own Story.
