Speaking at home before the ceremony, Matt admitted that he had his doubts over whether their whirlwind romance would survive in ‘the real world.’

Whitney began: ‘I didn’t get to meet you at the end of the aisle but I never thought I could fall so hard and so fast. These feelings are super new to me I’ve never been In a relationship before.
‘For the first time in my life I am running towards my feelings and not away from them.’
Matt added: ‘Before we could explore these feelings every other couple in the experiment had something to say. Is this all too much too soon? But when you know you know. I love you, Whitney.’

Elsewhere, power couple Chanita and Jordan had their fair share of doubts, after he displayed a ‘red flag’ during the final dinner party, where he confessed that he ‘would not move in with someone that he didn’t love.’
Explaining his feelings to Chanita, Jordan admitted: ‘I feel like I’m walking on egg shells and if I’m scared of me being me then that will be a problem.’
She added: ‘I feel like you don’t feel the same and aren’t going to fully let me into your life. But, our time apart has made me realise that I miss you so much. So, the decision was easy for me,’ Chanita concluded as she said she would stay.

Earlier this week, Matt left viewers cringing over his tattoo tribute to Whitney as he pulled down his trousers to show it off while enjoying a private dinner at London’s famous Shard restaurant.
They started playing of game of who knows who best and Whitney asked Matt what she would be winning as a ‘prize.’

Staying: But he added: ‘I’m ready to give you all the reassurance you deserve, regardless of any hardship we have endured, I would not change any of it’
He replied: ‘I can give you something a little more permanent than a prize.’
Suddenly he stood up and pulled down his trousers to reveal a new inking he had for Whitney which read: ‘I appreciate you.’
He said: ‘When we were on a little mini break, I remember in the kitchen, I said “I appreciate you” and you were like, “I appreciate you too”‘.
‘We now have that little memory that isn’t going anywhere.’
‘That is just so cringe’: Earlier this week, Matt left viewers cringing over his tattoo tribute to Whitney as he pulled down his trousers to show it off
Permanent reminder: He has had ‘I appreciate you’ tattooed onto his leg because it’s a sentence they said to one another when they first got talking
After Matt unveiled his tattoo, Whitney then handed him a photo of the two of them, which coincidentally had the words: ‘I appreciate you too,’ written underneath it.
But not everyone was a fan of the tattoo reveal.
He wrote: ‘NO WAY HE GOT A TATTOO #mafs #mafsuk #MarriedAtFirstSight #MarriedAtFirstSightuk.’
‘Matt’s tattoo for Whitney is horrible.’
‘Sorry… but that tattoo is so f***ing cringe … #MAFSUK.’
Hmmm: Fans of the show were not all so keen on the tattoo tribute
Matt had been married to Gemma Rose, 31, and Whitney had been married to Duka Cav, 31, but they decided to leave their partners and date one another.
They were allowed to remain on the show as a dating couple, rather than a married couple, to see if their romance could work with the help of the experts.
They also told each other they were in love with one another after just one week of dating.
But not everyone was on board with the coupling and Thomas Hartley, 31, shouted at Whitney in a recent episode: ‘You’re a liar and an adulterer.’
Married at First Sight UK: Reunion will air on E4 at 8pm on Monday October 17.
