MAFS UK’s Adrian is unrecognisable without ‘Captain Curtains’ hair in throwback snap
Married At First Sight UK's Adrian Sanderson looks very different in a resurfaced throwback picture.
The star, 37, is known for rocking his blond curtain bangs, causing his husband Thomas Hartley to once say: "Captain Curtains can f**k off" after an argument on the reality show, even likening him to Ian "H" Watkins from Steps.
A throwback photo from 2020 on his Instagram account showcases Adrian sporting a shaved haircut, looking unrecognisable.
He can also be seen holding up a peace sign while wearing a black T-shirt and gold necklace. Using a sunshine emoji, his caption read: "RAY."
While Adrian certainly looked great with his shaved hair, it's fair to say fans shouldn't expect the hairstyle to be returning anytime soon as he's still wearing his bangs.
Recently taking to his Instagram stories, Adrian also entertained fans with a Q&A session.
One follower asked: "How come you and Tom aren't following each other?"
Adrian then responded: "None of the cast should be following each other … They're being naughty."
Viewers have watched the star and his husband Thomas have a rollercoaster journey on Married At First Sight UK.
One of their tense moments occurred at their wedding when Thomas was being grilled by Adrian's best friend Katie.
Katie asked the groom many questions such as why his brother wasn't present at the wedding and what his dream life was.
Thomas' mum said: "I’m Tom’s mum and I wouldn’t dream of asking Adrian any of these questions.
"And Katie’s just a friend. If Katie carries on, Tom will go mad."
And Thomas added: "Katie really is grilling me as if she’s part of the experiment and she’s one of the experts. Like b***h, be quiet."
Thomas then spoke with Adrian about his concerns and said: "I don’t feel like I’ve been able to sit and have a conversation with you because everyone’s asking questions."
Addressing Katie, he added: "Not everyone, you. He’s a fully grown a** man who needs to look after himself."
He then told Adrian: "It hasn’t given me a minute to have a conversation with you."
Despite their challenges, fans have watched the two grow together in their relationship.
Married At First Sight UK, which airs on E4, follows strangers who have agreed to get married despite not ever meeting their partners.
After a few weeks of the experiment, the couples then decide if they want to say together or go their separate ways.
