MAFS UK’s Adrian Sanderson confirms relationship status ahead of finale
Married At First Sight UK star Adrian Sanderson has confirmed his relationship status ahead of the series finale next Tuesday October 18.
The 37 year old gave the update as he answered fans questions on Instagram Stories.
In a brief clip posted, Adrian was seen on an evening walk as he told followers what they all wanted to know.
As a fan asked the question, Adrian responded: “Ooh, you’re the first person to ask me that…”
“Um, my relationship status is…single.”
Viewers were left devastated earlier this week as they saw Adrian and partner Thomas Hartley, 31, split up on the E4 show at the contestants’ final dinner party.
In emotional scenes, the pair agreed to separate, after battling the majority of the experiment out together.
Prior to their conversation, Thomas had said to the camera: "Looking around the table I'm seeing how happy everyone is and I just don't feel like that. I need to talk to Adrian."
He then told Adrian: "I just wanted someone to love me, and I wanted someone to be with me forever”, before the teary-eyed pair finally split.
When asked on Instagram Stories if he feels open to a new relationship by another fan, Adrian replied: “Do you know what I would say which is really interesting about doing this sort of thing, this sort of process?
“Is that you learn so much about a) yourself, and b) relationships and human nature, and how things can affect people and how the other people can’t see that.
The TV star added: “I would say hopefully, I came out more equipped a healthy, happy, good relationship in the future.”
Adrian gained more popularity with viewers in the last week of MAFS after his grace in handling his break-up with Thomas.
Fans praised the Liverpool-bred contestant as they called Adrian “sweet” and shared how much they were going to miss seeing him and Thomas on the show.
Viewers were left even more proud after they saw Adrian go head-to-head with couple Whitney Hughes and Matt Murray at the explosive dinner party, as he finished his confrontation by saying: " f**k off Whitney!"
Fans flocked to Twitter as they responded to Adrian’s ballsy attitude.
One person tweeted: "Adrian is the boss of series 2022!", as another wrote: "Respect to Adrian!"
A third added: "Not Adrian finally giving it both barrels in his last two minutes on the show."
