Maisie Smith shares raw clip in tears in cryptic post after Max George split speculation
Maisie Smith caused concern among fans after they believed she had split with her boyfriend Max George, following a cryptic video she posted of herself crying on Tuesday.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 21, shared a 20-second compilation clip of her shedding tears on TikTok, as the song Evergreen (You Didn’t Deserve Me) by Omar Apollo played over it.
“You didn’t deserve me”, Maisie repeated in her caption, as she was seen being comforted by her dog in the video, leading followers to suspect she had broken up with Max, 34.
Fans continued to speculate over the end of the romance in the comment section, as one user asked: “They’ve broken up?”
A second person wrote: “If this is true!! he didn’t deserve you only happiness, laughs, smiles, wild ways and adventures are what you deserve”.
A third said: “U r truly an amazing, inspirational and strong woman! Straighten your crown and walk tall!”
Someone else added: “Hope you’re OK angel”.
The video showed Maisie red-eyed from crying in various settings, as she added in the caption: “Nothing but happiness these days,” suggesting perhaps these sad clips were from a previous time.
Boyfriend Max ended the speculation of a split following the video post, as he commented to girlfriend Maisie: “My absolute world, my angel.”
