Martine McCutcheon proudly embraces curves in black bikini ahead of holiday

Martine McCutcheon has wowed her fans after she posted a stunning picture of herself wearing a black bikini to her Instagram.

The 46 year old actress, best known for her role in EastEnders, shared the throwback snap on Friday as she appeared to be in full vacation mode.

In the post, Martine could be seen in a two piece black swimming costume and red sunglasses, whilst carrying a straw fedora and her black flip flops.

In the caption she revealed to her 531,000 followers that she had "finally" booked a holiday.

She wrote: "Finally booked our holiday! I can’t wait to see the ocean! Time to get the bikini, sunglasses, flip flops and sun hats packed, whoop! #bookeditpackeditfeckedoff"

Celebrity friend Louise Redknapp commented a simple red heart emoji as she acknowledged Martine's exciting news.

The trip away appears long overdue after the English actress recently admitted the menopause had left her feeling as though she was "losing her mind".

Taking to social media, she told fans that she started Hormone Replacement Therapy to help tackle her symptoms, which she described as a "game-changer".

The former EastEnders star has also been sharing her weight loss journey over the past year, and has praised celeb pal Davina McCall for giving her advice about how to deal with the changes, as well as thanking her menopause doctor Naomi Potter.

Posting to her Instagram story about her HRT, Martine said: "It’s been quite a game changer for me, there’s still some adjustments and tweaks to make.

"I've been really so lucky to be guided by the force of nature that is Davina and Naomi Potter is a godsend to women going through this time.

"When we are all losing our minds this lady is calm, collected and so wise about the whole situation."

As well as being open and honest about her health she also treated her fans to the news that she would be returning to acting.

She said: "I’m doing a movie, playing the very small part of an ex-ballerina, with John Cleese in Budapest in Hungary this year. I am starting to look at other things too."

Martine's big break was when she played Tiffany Mitchell in EastEnders from 1995 to 1998.

But then she landed her role as a Downing Street PA in Love Actually alongside Hugh Grant, which made her a household name.

Following this role, she starred in a few TV shows, such as Spooks and Agatha Christie's Marple, and some TV and short films – then starring alongside Patrick Swayze in Jump! in 2008.
