He recently returned to Australia for a laid-back winter holiday. 

And Hollywood star Matt Damon, 51, looked thoroughly relaxed as he and his stunning wife Luciana Barroso, 46, enjoyed a boozy day fishing at a beach in Byron Bay on Sunday.

The pair, who married in 2005, were joined for the outing by their daughters Isabella, 15, Gia, 13, and Stella, 11, and a group of A-list pals.

Among the group was Chris Hemsworth’s actor brother Luke and his wife Samantha, who count themselves as long-term pals of Matt and Luciana. 

Australian TV presenter Lauren Phillips and her aviation tycoon beau Paul O’Brien, who often attend social events in Byron Bay, also joined the gathering. 

Luciana looked fit as a fiddle, showing off her sensational figure a strapless floral-print bikini.

Matt also looked buff as ever in a tight blue T-shirt and board shorts.

The Bourne Identity star also wore a cap and covered his eyes beneath a pair of retro sunglasses.

At times, doting dad Matt was seen throwing around a football with his children. 

Meanwhile, Samantha looked svelte as she strolled down the sand in a black one-piece bikini and brown Akubra hat. 

She wore her hair out in natural waves and accessorised her ensemble with a layered gold necklace.

Elsewhere, Lauren and Paul were seen in the midst of what looked to be a tense conversation. 

Lauren, who covered up in a floral romper, placed her hands on her hips as she mimicked the body language of her wealthy beau.

The group were seen sipping on refreshing beers and rose wine on the sand.  

Not present for the outing were Matt and Luciana’s close pals Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky.

He spent much of last year in Australia filming Thor: Love & Thunder alongside Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.

In November 2020, it was reported that Matt and Luciana had snapped up a $22million mansion in Byron Bay. 

The five bedroom property, which overlooks Wategos Beach, is regarded as one of the area’s most prestigious homes.
