Max George and Maisie Smith spark engagement rumours with loved up snap

Max George and Maisie Smith have sparked engagement rumours in their latest loved-up snaps whilst they enjoy a sun-drenched vacation in Cyprus.

Maisie posted snaps of the smitten pair as they embraced on their "baecation", with the 21 year old looking incredible in a slinky leopard print dress and red heels.

The Wanted's Max, 34, looked cool and casual in a white polo shirt, chinos and converse as he stood strong with his lady, and he later wrote: "I [love heart emoji] you" on the post.

As Celebrity SAS star Maisie rested her hand on Max's arm in the snaps, she appeared to have a diamond ring sitting on the wedding finger of her left hand, prompting their fans to go into overdrive with speculation.

One person commented: "Is that an engagement ring?" whilst another said: "I thought the same".

A third questioned: "Is that a ring? On your RING FINGER?!"

The pair haven't been shy about showing off their love since getting together in the summer, with Max clearly getting the seal of approval from Maisie's family, as they are joined by Maisie's mum and sister on the Greek island.

Maisie's mum Julia posted a sweet snap of herself with Maisie and her elder sister Scarlett as she wrote: "Me and my beautiful girls," to which Max commented with a number of heart-eye emojis.

Max and Maisie's holiday comes just days after fans suspected that they had broken up, after Maisie posted a Tik Tok video, in which she appeared to be crying, as she curiously captioned it: "Nothing but happiness these days."

Several other clips show the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant woefully wiping her tears, and cradling her dog for comfort.

On top of the video, Maisie wrote: "You didn't deserve me", followed by "at all".

Fans rushed to comment, speculating as to whether Max and Maisie had broken up, with one writing: "Is she still with max", whilst another added: "They've broken up?"

Max put any rumours of a breakup to bed, though, as he posted a snap of the pair kissing as they sat on their flight waiting to depart to Cyprus.

Maisie has previously opened up on her relationship with Max, who she met on the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing, although the pair didn't get together until two years later.

Speaking to The Sun, Maisie said: "He [Max] knows me entirely. There are no feelings that I’ve kept inside, which is a weight off my shoulders.

"It feels amazing to know that when someone loves you they know every bit about you — the good and the bad. That’s what love is really."

When asked if she loves him, Maisie smiled before responding: "Yeah, I do," before going on to share how max is "proud" of her.
