Michael J Fox reunites with Back to the Future’s Christopher Lloyd amid Parkinson’s battle

Back to the Future star Michael J Fox, 61, was joyfully reunited with his former co-star Christopher Lloyd, 83, at New York Comic Con yesterday. The Teen Wolf actor, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, was all smiles as he spoke in front of the crowd.

Michael played the iconic Marty McFly in the 1985 film Back to the Future, while Christopher played eccentric scientist Doctor Emmett Brown or “Doc”. 

The actors came together to reminisce about the popular film trilogy almost four years after its initial release in theatres and were met with thunderous applause from the audience. 

The pair then engaged in a lively Q&A session, where they spoke about the time they first met on set. 

Michael had been brought in to replace Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly after several weeks of filming. 

While at first, Christopher was apprehensive about having to start all over again, he went on to explain that he had “immediate chemistry” with Michael.

The star has been very open about his Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 1991.

Both actors could be seen wearing blue jeans and white trainers, with Christopher wearing a dark gilet and black pullover combo, while Michael wore a navy blue blazer over a Back to the Future T-shirt.
