The front row of the Michael Kors fashion show in New York City on Wednesday afternoon was jam-packed with familiar faces.

There were several Hollywood A-listers as they squeezed in side-by-side to get a look at the fall/winter 2023 collection, which was modeled by Irina Shayk and Amber Valletta.

One was even an Oscar nominee, another a Broadway singer. 

Also at the fashion event – which had a spectacular red carpet outside – there was a well-known and published feminist in the mix.

And rounding out the cast of characters was a fashion magazine editor who seemed to give a cold shoulder to most of the women she sat next to as she wore dark sunglasses.

In the front row was Vogue editor-in chief Anna Wintour, feminist Gloria Steinem, Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie, Mindy Kaling, Kate Hudson, Katie Holmes, Alan Cumming, Don Lemon of CNN, Ellen Pompeo and her daughter, and Lea Michele.

Anna Wintour wore her sunglasses as usual, which made her appear more distant than she probably should, as she paired a snakeskin coat with a plaid dress.

The 73-year-old also had her bob in the same style she has worn for decades. 

The British journalist based in New York City who has served as editor-in-Chief of Vogue since 1988 and Global Chief Content Officer for Condé Nast since 2020; she is also the artistic director of Condé Nast and the Global Editorial Director of Vogue. 

The star is romantically linked with 73-year-old British actor Bill Nighy.

Next to her was 88-year-old journalist and social-political activist Gloria Steinem. The Ohio native emerged as a nationally recognized leader of second-wave feminism in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s. 

Steinem was a columnist for New York magazine and a co-founder of Ms. magazine.

Savannah Guthrie looked chic in a black lace dress that revealed her bare legs. 

The 51-year-old beauty is a broadcast journalist and attorney. She is a main co-anchor of the NBC News, morning show Today, a position she has held since July 2012. 

Guthrie joined NBC News in September 2007 as a legal analyst and correspondent, regularly reporting on trials throughout the country. 

Actress Mindy Kaling stood out in a tomato red pantsuit that showed off her newly slim figure.

The 43-year-old comedian, screenwriter and producer first gained recognition starring as Kelly Kapoor in the NBC sitcom The Office, for which she also served as a writer, executive producer, and director.

Savannah: Savannah Guthrie looked chic in a black lace dress that revealed her bare legs. The 51-year-old beauty is a broadcast journalist and attorney. Kate Hudson had on a strappy black bikini top that showed off her flat tummy as she wore her blonde hair up.

The Oscar nominee is the daughter of Hollywood great Goldie Hawn. 

Hudson made her film debut in the 1998 drama Desert Blue, which was followed by supporting roles in several films like ALmost Famous and How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days.

Kate, 43, had fun chatting up Katie Holmes who was next to her. Holmes played it safe in a dark suit.

Katie: The 44-year-old Katie Holmes, right, first achieved fame as Joey Potter on the television series Dawson’s Creek. Holmes made her feature film debut in 1997 with a supporting role in Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm. More recently she was in The Secret

Next to her was actor Alan Cumming. 

The 58-year-old Scottish actor has done stage work in Hamlet, the Maniac in Accidental Death of an Anarchist, the lead in Bent, The National Theatre of Scotland’s The Bacchae and Samuel Beckett’s Endgame at The Old Vic, opposite Daniel Radcliffe. 

He has been on the series Instinct and The Good Wife.

Alan: Next to Holmes was actor Alan Cumming. The 58-year-old Scottish actor has done stage work in Hamlet, the Maniac in Accidental Death of an Anarchist, the lead in Bent, The National Theatre of Scotland’s The Bacchae and Samuel Beckett’s Endgame at The Old Vic, opposite Daniel Radcliffe

Don: After him was CNN star Don Lemon who wore sunglasses and a beige outfit. The 56-year-old Louisiana native is an American television journalist most well known for being a host on CNN

Ellen: Next up was Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo in a beige outfit as she was joined by her daughter. The 53-year-old actress is wed to Chris Ivery

Lea: After that came Glee vet Lea Michele who is getting praised for her turn in the Broadway version of Funny Girl. The 36-year-old Bronx native began her career as a child actress on Broadway, appearing in productions of Les Misérables, Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof, and Spring Awakening

After him was CNN star Don Lemon who wore sunglasses and a beige outfit. 

The 56-year-old Louisiana native is an American television journalist most well known for being a host on CNN. 

Lemon anchored weekend news programs on local television stations in Alabama and Pennsylvania during his early days as a journalist. 

Next up was Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo in a beige outfit as she was joined by her daughter.

The 53-year-old actress is wed to Chris Ivery.
