MIC’s Binky Felstead reassures fans she ‘hasn’t given birth yet’ after hospital post
Made in Chelsea (MIC) star Binky Felstead has been forced to clarify to fans that she had yet to give birth after confusing wording in an Instagram post.
Binky, whose real name is Alexandra, is currently expecting her second child with husband Max Darnton, whom she already shares son Wolfie with.
Binky also has daughter India with ex-partner and MIC co-star Josh Patterson.
On Tuesday, Binky shared a photo of the Lindo Wing Maternity Hospital, the private maternity unit at St Mary's Hospital London where Kate Middleton has also given birth.
She wrote on the photo: "Here we go again…. Excited to bring my third baby out of these doors."
However, she soon realised how misleading the wording was, as she'd only attended the hospital for an appointment and not to give birth.
She posted a video of herself on her Instagram story, clarifying the situation.
She said: "Sorry I realise that was a really misleading post. I'm getting all of you messaging me saying 'is it happening?'
"It's not happening yet. Got a few more weeks. That's just a midwife meeting, check bloods, chat. It is feeling pretty real now though. Not going to lie, it's really exciting. But yeah, don't worry, I'm not giving birth. I'm going to go back and make some pancakes now."
Binky announced her third pregnancy on Instagram in November, posting a video with her businessman husband Max, 33 and wrote: "Imagine thinking you’re nearing the 'oh so quiet' phase again…. Taurus baby coming in hot."
A month after announcing her pregnancy, Binky also revealed that she was having a baby boy, after sharing a video from her gender reveal.
The video showed her eldest child India popped a balloon to reveal blue confetti.
Binky was seen counting down to the big moment and asked five-year-old India: “And what is it if pink stuff comes out?”
An excited India replied: “Girl!”
As the blue confetti fell, India couldn’t hide her disappointment as she sulked on the coffee table before stomping out the room saying, “I don’t want a brother!”
Binky gasped before joking to her loved ones: “One for the archives”.
Writing alongside the hilarious video shared on her Instagram, Binky wrote: “We now have a great family video for her 18th birthday #SiblingLove.
“Needless to say she is beyond happy now we've sat her down & she has realised she is the only princess still.”
The reality star was recently given confirmation that she has gestational diabetes while being pregnant.
Gestational diabetes is a high blood sugar condition that develops during pregnancy and normally goes away once the mother has given birth.
After finally receiving the results, the reality TV favourite shared a snap of herself in bed recuperating.
Showing off her blooming baby bump, the mum-of-two smiled for the camera as she explained her situation to her followers.
"SO it’s been confirmed I am officially a ‘GD Mum’ as my friend who’s also got Gestational Diabetes called it on the phone today after me calling her immediately after finding out, asking her what the hell this all means!!"the star began.
"She started off the conversation saying ‘by the way Binks, this is NOT your fault at all. You haven’t done anything wrong, so please do not blame yourself for getting this!’ – Which was actually the first thing I didn’t realise I needed to hear!"
Binky admitted she can't go into detail yet because she's still finding out information, but she's now aware that getting gestational diabetes is "apparently pretty common".
