MIC’s Millie Mackintosh says goodbye to tattoos as she undergoes laser removal on three inkings

Millie Mackintosh has decided to have her tattoos removed via laser surgery.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 33, documented her first round of removal on Instagram and talked her fans through the process.

Millie, who shares two daughters with co-star Hugo Taylor, explained that she has three small tattoos that she’s getting removed.

The reality TV star has a butterfly on her lower back, as well as three small stars on the back of her shoulder.

It’s unclear where and what Millie’s third inking is.

Speaking to the camera wearing a pair of protective glasses as her tattoo on her shoulder was being worked on, Millie said: “So, it’s like a tiny sting but I can mainly just feel the sensation of the cold air which is not really painful, it’s just a bit uncomfortable. It just feels really cold.”

She went on: “I can kind of just feel some stinging, but it’s like a stinging nettle sting and then it’s over really quickly.”

Millie also showed her butterfly being removed as she reassured her 1.4 million followers that it was “no more painful than laser hair removal”.

The mum-of-two captioned the clip: “Because my tattoos are all small it was possible to treat all three in one session.”

She continued to explain that she’ll be going back to NAAMA studio in two weeks time and will keep her fans posted on the results.

Millie's laser surgery comes after the MIC star attended the EE BAFTAs at the weekend alongside the likes of Viola Davis, Jamie Lee Curtis and Vera Wang.

For the star-studded affair, the 33 year old sported a plunge neck blue sequin dress with feathered detailing on the sleeves.

Sharing snaps to Instagram, Millie said that her daughter Sienna, two, helped her get ready.

“I feel so lucky to be a part of the gang, getting all dressed up on a school night to celebrate the best of the best in film,” she began.

“Sienna joined me to get ready, she loved watching me get glammed up and was totally mesmerised by all of the pretty dresses. A day of fairytale moments and special memories we’ll cherish forever.”

Her celebrity pals were quick to gush over how fabulous she looked, with doting husband Hugo leading the comments.

“Wowza,” he wrote alongside a string of heart emojis, as fellow MIC star Sophie Habboo – who recently celebrated her hen-do ahead of her nuptials to Jamie Laing – labelled Millie as “unreal”.
