During Molly’s time in the villa, some Islanders and audience members accused the star of being inauthentic in her feelings for the boxer, 23 – who she is still with three years later.
She compared the situation to this year’s Islanders Tasha and Andrew Le Page, who are now boyfriend and girlfriend after becoming official on the show.
But Tasha has still faced backlash from her fellow Islanders, including the boys and Casa Amor girls, leading to a dramatic recoupling that saw the real estate agent twist for Coco Lodge as she brought Billy Brown back into the villa.
The pair have since reconciled, but Tasha has been accused of not being genuine, coming into conflict with Luca Bish and Dami Hope, who said Andrew had been ‘walked over’ and accused Tasha of ‘riding on their partners coattails’ in a challenge.

And in a new vlog on her YouTube channel, uploaded on Thursday, Molly compared herself to Tasha after watching an episode of the hit show with pal – and dating series alum – Maura Higgins.
While washing her face, she told followers that this year’s instalment of the ITV2 dating show is ‘quite beefy’.
‘Like, I have only just started to get quite into it since Casa Amor ’cause I feel like that’s when it got really exciting,’ she began.
‘And, unpopular opinion, I know everyone seems to like hate on Tasha… that’s what Maura was telling me because obviously I’m not on Twitter… but I would never have picked up on that you know.’

Pie to the face: In a recent challenge Luca finished off his go with a pie to Tasha’s face, saying ‘I could give you a list as long as Adam’ as unimpressed Andrew looked on
‘That was actually me – how funny.’
Molly told fans she feels ‘sorry for her’, adding: ‘Obviously we don’t know, I guess we’ll see, when her and Andrew come out but you can’t accuse someone of being fake like.’
She concluded: ‘I was basically Tasha…everyone accusing me of being fake, everyone saying I was with Tommy to get to the final, and here we are three years on so maybe Tasha will prove you all wrong – or prove the boys in the villa wrong.’
‘It’s probably not a bad time for me not to be on Twitter,’ she admitted. ‘Because I think I would actually be getting so angry, I don’t know what’s going on on Twitter in regards to this year’s Love Island, but it’s never pleasant is it.
Annoyed: Dami also pied Tasha, dramatically declaring: ‘You usually get away with a lot of stuff, but this pie you weren’t gonna get away with’
‘People are just so savage and I know exactly how that feels.’
She continued: ‘I was just saying to Maura there… everyone… well everyone in the villa saying “Tasha’s fake, Tasha’s fake”, like, that was literally me, guys.
A recent ‘Snog, Marry, Pie’ challenge saw Tasha bear the brunt of the pies as some of the boys made a point of going for her.
Throwing the pastry in her face, Dami had dramatically declared: ‘You usually get away with a lot of stuff, but this pie you weren’t gonna get away with.’

Luca had followed suit, saying ‘I could give you a list as long as Adam’ for why he was pieing the dancer as unimpressed Andrew looked on.
While both boys have since apologised to the couple, Tasha admitted to Luca that she was frustrated given she’s ‘always had you and Gemma’s back’ and felt the boys were ‘digging at my personality’.
This month, Tasha’s father has also spoken out about the ‘horrific’ comments aimed towards his daughter while she is on the show.
Tarek, 55, said the nasty trolling made him ‘sick to the stomach’, and had rallied the other contestants’ families into releasing a joint statement to ask viewers to be kind.

‘I don’t know what fuels people to even think like that. They don’t even know them. It’s quite bizarre.’
Tarek explained that the families were prepared for the onslaught of abuse, after ITV2 gave them social media training before the show.
He added: ‘We’ve got no place for hate comments, this show’s about love.’
